Five Special Blessings

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (Radi Allahu Anhu) has narrated that the Beloved and Blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated,

"In Ramadan, my Ummah has been gifted five such things which were not given to any other Prophet (Alayhim as-Salam) before me:

1. On the first night of Ramadan, Allah showers special mercy upon them and the one upon whom Allah showers special mercy will never be punished.

2. In the evening, Allah likes the smell emanating from their mouths (due to hunger) more than even musk.

3. Angels pray for their forgiveness every night and day.

4. Allah orders Heaven to be adorned for His (righteous) people and says, ‘Soon they will get rid of the grief of the world and find solace in My house and My bounties.’

5. On the last night of Ramadan, Allah forgives them all."

Standing up, a person asked, "Ya RasoolAllah (SallAllahu Alayka wa Sallam)! Is that Laylat al-Qadr?"

He (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) replied, "No. Do you not see that a labourer is given his wage when he finishes his job?"

The Importance of Giving Sadaqa (Voluntary Charity)

The Blessed Month of Ramadaan is approaching us swiftly and we are looking forward to reaping its blessings and rewards. During this month of Ramadaan Muslims distribute their Zakaat and Sadaqaat with open hearts and the generosity of the believers is usually at its best. With the exception of giving our obligatory Charity (i.e. our Zakaat), we should also attempt both in Ramadaan and out of Ramadaan to give Sadaqa in abundance, as this is a means of great benefit to a believer.

Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) said, The shade of a Muslim on the Day of Qiyaamat is his Sadaqa. [Ahmed]

Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reported that Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) said, When Almighty Allah created the earth, it began to tremble, so Allah created the mountains and placed them on it, so the earth became stable. The Angels were astonished at the strength of the mountains. They said, O Allah! Is there anything in your creation which is stronger than a mountain? Almighty Allah said, Yes, Iron. They said, is there something stronger than iron? Almighty Allah said, Yes, Fire. They said, is there something stronger (more powerful) than fire? Allah said, yes, water. They said, is there something more powerful than water? Allah said, yes, the wind. They said, is there something more powerful than the wind? Almighty Allah said, yes, Ibn Adam (a man) who gives Sadaqa with his right hand and even hides this (deed) from his left hand.[Tirmizi]

Allah bless us with the Taufeeq to be generous in His way and in the love of the believers. Aameen!!

Sheep And Mountains

Narrated by Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu Allah's Apostle Sall Allahu alayhi wasallam said,
"There will come a time when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take to the tops of mountains and the places of rainfall so as to flee with his religion from the afflictions.
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Marhaba Ya Ramadhan

Soon, we will be granted with a tremendous gift in the form of #Ramadan, whose every moment is full of mercy. The reward of good deeds is multiplied many times in this month. The reward of a Nafl act is equivalent to that of a Fard, while the reward of a Fard act is multiplied 70 times. In this month, even the sleep of a fasting person is considered an act of worship. The divine Arsh-holding angels say "Aameen" for the Du'a of the fasting people. According to a Hadith, the fish in the seas ask for forgiveness until Iftar for the one who fasts in Ramadan. Bondman Of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

It is reported by Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allahu Anhu) that the Noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has said, "Allah will say on the Day of Judgement: ‘O son of Adam! Why did you not visit Me when I was ill.’ He would say, ‘O my Rab! How could I visit You, whereas You are Rab of all the worlds.’ Allah will then say, ‘Did you not know that My so-and-so bondman had fallen ill and you did not visit him. If you had visited him, you would have found Me with him.’

Allah will say then, ‘O son of Adam! I asked you for food, why did you not feed Me?’ He would say, ‘O Allah! How would I feed You when You are Rab of all the worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did My so-and-so bondman not beg food of you? But you did not feed him. Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found its reward from Me?’

Then Allah will say, ‘O son of Adam! I asked you for water, why did you not give Me water to drink?’ He would say, ‘O Allah! How would I give You water to drink when You are Rab of all the worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did My so-and-so bondsman not ask you for water? But you did not give him water. If you had given water to him, you would certainly have found its reward from Me.’" [Sahih Muslim, Page 1389, Hadith 2569]

The Soul Lives Forever

It is mentioned in a Hadith  اﳕﺎ ﺧﻠﻘﺘﻢ ﻻﺑﺪ You were created to live forever. However, a common man’s body turns to dust, but it is not the entire body which disintegrates, but some particles known as Ajab Az Zamb are such that neither do they burn nor do they erode, but they remain in existence. On the Day of Qiyaamat, it is from them that the body will be resurrected.

Good Character Comes From The Parents

Numayr ibn Aws {May Allah be pleased with him} reported: I heard my father say that they used to say:

'Correct action is a gift from Allah, but Adab/Good Character comes from the parents."

Obedience To Parents

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) has stated that the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has said,

"The one whose morning was in such a way that he is obedient to his parents, for him two gates of Paradise are opened in the morning and if only one parent [is alive], then one gate opens. And the one whose evening was in such a way that he was disobedient to Allah in regards to his parents, for him two gates of Hell open in the morning and if only one of them [is alive], and then only one gate opens."

A person asked, "Even if the parents are cruel to him?"

He (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) replied, "Even if they are cruel, even if they are cruel, even if they are cruel."

[Bayhaqi, Shu'ab al-Iman, Vol. 6, Page 206, Hadith 7916]

Seventy Three (73) Sects

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said,

“The Banu Isra’il split into seventy-two sects. My Ummah will split into seventy-three. All of them will be in the Fire except for one.” the companions asked, “Who are they, Messenger of Allah?”

He SalAllaho Alaihi Wasallam replied, “Those who base themselves on what I and my Companions are doing today.”
( At-Tirmidhi)

Jumu’ah: The King Of The Week

Sa’ad bin Ma’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Jumu’ah is the king of all days and it is esteemed before Allah (The Exalted), it is also greater than ‘Eidul Fitr and ‘Eidul Adha. It has five qualities:
1. Allah (The Exalted) created Prophet Adam (upon whom be peace) on this day.
2. This day he was sent to earth.
3. He passed away on this day.
4. Your lawful supplications are accepted on this day.
5. The Day of Resurrection will be on this day. No angel in the heavens, the earth, the air, the mountains and in the sea who doesn’t fear the day of Jumu’ah. (Ibn Majah)

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) narrates the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said that, “Amongst all the days the best is Jumu’ah, Prophet Adam (upon whom be peace) was born, this day he entered Paradise, this day he came from Paradise to earth and the Day of Judgment will be on Jumu’ah.”

(Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i, Fatawa-e-Razawiyya, Vol: 9, p. 265, Jam’i-ul-Hadith, Vol: 1, p. 611)

Promoting Good by Our Pious

Mahdi Hassan Barkaati (may Allah have mercy upon him), states, “When I used to go to Bareilly, A’la Hadhrat Shaykh Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah have mercy upon him) would personally bring out the food for me, and he would also wash my hands. Once, while washing my hands, he requested me to give him my ring and bangle which were made of gold. I immediately presented them to him. Later, I departed to Bombay. When I returned to Mahrerah, my daughter informed me that there was a parcel for me from Bareilly. I opened the parcel and found enclosed the ring and bangle. There was also a note in it which A’la Hadhrat wrote presenting the jewels to my daughter.” (Imam Ahmad Raza. His Academic and Spiritual Services.)

SubhanAllah! Look at the respect and wisdom that Shaykh Ahmad Raza Khan showed towards his superiors. He practised upon the law of promoting good and forbidding evil and at the same time showing great respect towards Mahdi Hassan Barkaati (may Allah have mercy upon him).

Associating With Deviant Sects?

Fatawa al Haramayn Ala Hazrat radi Allahu anhu writes regarding associating with deviant sects, “Their behaviour is haram and heretical”.

He further writes, “it is intended to estrange Muslims with little knowledge from their law schools. Such Muslims, upon seeing heretical men of religion in cooperation with Ahlus Sunnah scholars all sitting in the same row of chairs, think of those heretics also as respectful and beneficial”.

Imam Ahmed Rida Khan states, “they begin to show respect to them which is sinful. Islamic religion commands humiliation and severe treatment of men of innovation and forbids showing respect to them. In books of doctrine, like ‘Sharh Maqasid’, the Scholars of Islam wrote “It is necessary to treat severely, to humiliate, to refute and to expel men of bid’a (innovation).” When Muslims see them at high ranks, their hearts incline to listen to them, and through the deception of Satan, begin to love them. These so called scholars who cooperate with the men of innovation cause Muslims to go astray, and cause them to lose their faith. Gathering of people with different beliefs results in the destruction of Islam. Those who claim to be waking up Muslims in fact try to poison them and lead them to disaster.”

Ala Hazrat radi Allahu anhu said, “When an innovation is spread, it is obligatory to refute it and spread knowledge of its evil, harmfulness and wickedness. It is unanimous, i.e. there is ijma (consensus) that this is obligatory by the scholars of Islam. The pious ancestors and the scholars of Islam always opposed innovation in this way. One who does not show rejection of the people of innovation and rather leave them alone to their innovation will have gone against the consensus, we cannot just leave them alone, and it is the same as liking their innovation. Ibn Hajar Makki wrote in the preface to Sawaiq al Muhriqa, “I was compelled to write this book by the hadith recorded in al Jami’ by Khatib Baghdadi which stated, “When seditions and innovations spread and the Companions are slandered, those who know the truth should declare what they know. May those who do not declare what they know be damned by Allah, the angels and all people. Their righteousness and worships are unacceptable. The Nadwi, syncretist propaganda that, “telling what one knows is sinful, causes disunion and self-destruction” is a slander against Allah and the Islamic Scholar. This is a denial of an important obligation.”

Imam Ahmed Rida Khan radi Allahu anhu states, “The Sharia commands enmity and prohibits friendship and alliance with deviants. A hadith in Sahih Muslim even shows that we should run from them to avoid hearing their speech. The hadîth reported from ‘Âbdullah ibn ’Umar (radiy-Allâhu ’anh) by Abu Dâwûd says, “Do not visit them when they get sick!” The hadîth reported from Jâbir by Ibn Mâja (radiy-Allâhu ’anh) states, “Do not greet them when you encounter them!” The hadîth reported by ’Ukailî from Anas ibn Mâlik (radiy-Allâhu ’anh) says, “Do not keep company with them! Do not eat or drink with them! Do not intermarry with them!” This hadîth forbids friendship, eating and marrying with ahl al-bid’a. It is written in Hindiyya and Bahr ar-râiq, “Zindîqs, Bâtînîs, Ibâhîs and all the groups with beliefs that cause Kufr are mushriks (polytheists) like idolaters and worshippers of stars. Marriage with such Mushriks or intercourse with their females as jâriyas is harâm.” After giving many examples of how it is necessary to show enmity towards the people of innovation, and mentioning how he was writing a booklet on how to deal with the deviants, the Imam states clearly that “the aim of Nadwatul Ulema is the same as that of the damned Satan”, i.e. that their line of work was exactly in line with the Masonic agenda for that land, and corrupting the faith of Muslims so that they would no longer agree on the norms that ruled the state and would have to adopt secular rule. He outlines one of their key tactics, which is to introduce a new heretical faith, under the disguise of ‘Muslim unity, “they introduce a new religion with their statement, ‘It is fard to unite Muslims’”. He mentions that it was a belief of Nadwa, like all cults similar to them, that all no believer would escape damnation except if he held their sectarian views, i.e. that it was not correct to have theological debate with deviants, and whoever disagreed would not have their worship accepted and nor would attain blessings and happiness.” Imam Ahmed Rida views this statement of their’s to be deviance on account of the implied denial of the Quranic verses which describe the forgiveness of Allah. For the reason that they regard an essential of faith (i.e. disputation with deviants) to be unlawful, Imam Ahmed Rida rightly views them to have dissented from Ahlus Sunnah, especially seeing how many hadiths there are about hostility towards deviants, “Their words, “Dispute with and hostility towards men of bid’a are sinful. This sin will not be forgiven. Pardon of it is impossible,” show that they have dissented from the right path of Ahl as-Sunna wa ’l Jama’a” (fatawa al haramayn, p.16). His advice to the believers was that there should be disassociation and enmity with the people of innovation as their existence was a sin, and he said that they should not be forgiven, they were outside the folds of forgiveness as they have exhibited clear exit from the folds of Sunni orthodoxy and because of their clear denial of the fundamental Sunni beliefs, and they could not be simply ignored on the basis of this, and that they needed to repent. They also changed the meanings of the words of the hadith that says, “Servants of God, be brothers to one another”, and they interpreted it to mean that anyone who recites the testimony of faith should not have argument and disagreement with another reciter of the same formula, i.e. all deviant sects should unite and Ahlus Sunna should also join with them. The Imam says, “As for the meaning of the words in the hadith, it is that you should become brothers by abandoning innovation and accepting the Sunni way, and this way, you (i.e. deviants) can earn the honour of becoming brothers to the People of Truth, instead of the opposite, which is that these people may remain on their innovations whilst ordering the People of Truth to tolerate them and sink to their level.” (fatawa al haramayn, p.17)

Ala Hazrat radi Allahu anhu says, “No it is not allowed. There is a hadith which states, “When the matter of teaching Islam is delegated to people not fit for the job, know the day of judgement is close”, this is recorded by al Bukhari and it is narrated by Abu Hurayrah radi Allahu anhu. Another hadith states “Other than the Antichrist, I seriously fear for my nation the deceiving, misguided religious leaders”, this was recorded by Imam Ahmed and narrated by Abu Dharr al Ghaffari. Ibn Adi and ad Daylami narrate from Abu Amamah, “Sometimes you find an ignorant worshipper and transgressive, sinful scholars, so filter out the ignorants from the worshippers and the sinners from the scholars”. And from the same companion, Abu Nuyam mentions in ‘Hilya’, “In the end of times you will find the maggots of qurra’ (reciters of scripture/callers to Islam), so whoever reaches that time, let him seek refuge in Allah from them”. And al Hakim mentions in his ‘tarikh’ from Anas the hadith, “Woe to/ I feel sorrow for my nation from the evil scholars”, and from Ahmed and Ibn Adi from Umar Ibn Al Khattab, and at Tabarani in his ‘kabir’, and al Bazzar from Imran Ibn Husayn, the hadith, “Among all the things I fear for my nation, I fear those scholars among them with hypocritical tongues”.

Ala Hazrat radi Allahu anhu says “You can see the signs of the hypocrites clearly, as shown in the hadith, you can see him when he attempts to appear devout and shows off to people, and when he tries to extend his beard out, and lengthens his robe, and enlargens his turban, and claims to be a leader for the people, and he recites the Quranic verses and narrates the hadith among the ignorant and then whispers satanic thoughts into their minds, this is such a menace and the most important thing is to destroy his plans and deflect his evil and make his evil known among the people. This is what Ibn Abi Dunya narrated and ash Shirazi in ‘Al Alqab’, and Ibn Adi and At Tabarani in ‘kabir’ and Bayhaqi and al Khatib from Bahz Ibn Hakim from his father from his grandfather that the Holy Prophet said “If you abstain from talking about the transgressor, how would people find out? Discuss the transgressor in regards to the evil he possesses so that the masses may be warned”. Acceptance/tolerance of kufr is in itself kufr, and equally the same applies for any level of heresy, innovation or sin. Everyone who carries false beliefs must repent immediately, otherwise it is obligatory upon the believers to keep away and shun them, consider their company like sitting in fire. This is the way of truth and guidance for whoever loves his faith.

Nisf Sha'abaan (Kiswahili)

Assalaamu alaikum,
Natumai hamjambo.
(1)  Mshirikina (2) Kafiri (3) Mchawi (4) Mnajumi (5) Mzinifu (6) Mlevi (7) Mshawishi
(8) Mwenye kupokea riba (9) Mwenye kuwaasi wazazi (10) Mfitini

Imam Husein RadwiyAllahu kuzaliwa tarehe 6.

Mahala alipofariki, alisoma Quran Tukufu 7,000.
WATUKUFU WAISLAMU TUPO JAMANI!!!
Maswali / maoni yanakaribishwa.

Fast on the 15th of Sha'ban

Sayyiduna Ali (Radi Allahu Anhu) has reported that the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

"When the 15th Night of Sha'ban comes, do Qiyam (for worship) in the night and observe fast during the day. No doubt, Allah reveals a special Divine Manifestation on the sky above the earth from the time of sunset and announces, ‘Is there anyone seeking forgiveness so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone seeking sustenance so that I may grant him sustenance? Is there anyone afflicted so that I may relieve his affliction? Is there so and so...’ He keeps announcing this until the time of Fajr."

A Letter of Imam al-Ahl as-Sunnah towards All Muslims

Shab-e-Bara'at is about to come. On this night, the deeds of all servants are presented in the Exalted Court of Allah. For the sake of the Most Dignified Rasool (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Him), Allah forgives the sins of the Muslims except that of a few. Among these are those two Muslims who bear mutual hostility for some worldly reasons. Allah says: "Leave them as they are, until they mend their relations".

Ahl as-Sunnah should end discords and mend relations before sunset of 14th Sha’ban. Fulfil the rights of others; else get waiver so at the book of deeds is presented in His court devoid of rights of others. Regarding the rights of Allah, mere sincere repentance is sufficient. It is mentioned in a Hadith:

"Whoever repents of his sin, is as if he has not committed the sin at all." [Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 4250]

If one abides as advised, (by the grace of Allah) there is a strong hope of forgiveness in this night provided his beliefs are perfect. (He forgives sins and grants mercy)

This practice of bringing brothers in Islam close to settle discords and fulfill the rights of each other is being in effect here since long. Hopefully, you will inculcate this good practice among the Muslims of your environs to become deserving of the reward mentioned in the following narration:

"He who initiates a virtuous tradition in Islam, there is reward of it for him and also the reward of all those acting upon it will be written continually in his account of deeds until the Day of Judgement without any decrease in the rewards of those acting upon it."

Pray for this Faqir (lowly servant of Allah) to be blessed with absolution and peace in the world and in the Hereafter! I remember you in supplications and will keep doing so. It should be made clear to all the Muslims that concord and pardon all should be made from core of the heart. Neither mere utterance by tongue is sufficient and nor lip-service is liked in the court of Allah.

The Handsome Eyes of Our Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam)

1. The beautiful eyes were wide and large.

2. The Iris was extremely black having an extremely white sclera.

3. The sclera (white part of the eye) had a touch of redness in it. Redness in the eye is a praiseworthy attribute and a handsome quality according to the Arabs. Hafiz al-Iraqi considered this redness one of the signs of the Prophet hood. When the Noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) travelled with Maysara to Basra, Rahib questioned him whether he had some redness in his eyes, upon knowing, he affirmed that he is the promised Messenger.

4. The eyelashes were long and full. They were naturally dark black as if kuhl (Surmah) had been applied to them.

5. The blessed eyebrows were long and shaped like a bow. al-Sihah defines it as thin and long. Al-Fa'q defines it as fine eyebrows that lead onto the end of the eye.

6. The eyebrows were perfect and never met in the middle above the nose. Sayyiduna Ali, Umm Ma'bad and Suwayd bin Gafalah (Radi Allahu Anhum) reported that the Noble Prophet’s (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) eyebrows did meet. However, the scholars have explained the sound view is that they did not meet and reconciled between the two reports by saying that if one was to attentively look at the eyebrows, he would realise that there was a thin white gap between them, otherwise it appeared as if they met.

7. In the affairs of Allah, the beloved’s (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) anger would appear as such that a vein would clearly appear filled by blood in between his eyebrows rising over his forehead.

Sullah Qulli - The Love And Respects For Every Sect?!

..:: Sullah Qulli (The Cancer Of People With Weak Imaan) The Love And Respects For Every Sect?! ::..

The title, Ahlus Sunnah, which the innovators have expressed for themselves is not appropriate for them.
Sulla Qulliat is a disease and it is spreading. Sulla Qulliat are people who don't differentiate Between Ahlus Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah and the false sects such as Wahhabis, Deobandis and Shi'a. They deem it permissible to sit, pray and socialise with them. Sulla Qullis do not condemn any false sect and will invite Wahhabis, Deobandis and Shi'as to their gatherings and will these innovators speak in their mosques etc.

This is why Sulla Qulliat is such a dangerous illness. Innocent sunnis are tricked into thinking that Wahhabis, Deobandis and Shi'a are upon the truth too and that we should treat them like we would a sunni. Their false and sometimes kufri beliefs are played down and judged to be minor issues.

Does Sulla Qulliat fit in with the teaching of the Qur'an, Sunnah and sayings of our scholars? No, it doesn't. Treating the people of innovation as brothers has always been something strongly discouraged in Islam. Here are some examples of this:

The dear prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam said: Whoever accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allah, His Angels and the whole of mankind.
Today, never mind "accommodating"; there are "scholars" who are making people the organisers of our gatherings who have lenience towards the innovators.

Let's look at the Qur'an, Hadith and the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah
Many people today like to classify themselves as belonging to the Saved Sect (Firqatun Najiyyah) Ahl as-Sunnah Wa'l Jama'ah; but do these people really know which is the Saved Sect, from the many sects we have today?

The Maturidis and Ash'aris are the elite of Ahlus Sunnah and the supporters of the laws of the Religion. They stood up to refute the innovators of misguidance among the Qadariyyah and others. The one who slanders them, in fact, slanders Ahlus Sunnah. The one in charge of Muslims has to discipline such people in a way to stop others from imitating them."

''And do not mix the Truth with Falsehood, nor purposely conceal the Truth.''
[al-Qur'an 2:42]

And there should be a group among you that invites to goodness, and enjoins good deeds and forbids immorality; it is they who are the successful.
[al-Qur'an 3:104]

"You are the best of peoples ever raised for mankind; you enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and you believe in Allah".
[al-Qur'an 7:157]

''And Tell that Truth has come and Falsehood has been destroyed. And Batil was bound to perish.''
[al-Qur'an 17:81]

'If one says a blasphemous statement, performs a blasphemous act or believes a blasphemous beliefs while, unaware that one has committed blasphemy, one is not excused. Rather one is still judged as blasphemer''
[Qadi Iyad al-Maliki, Abu Ḥamid al-Ghazali ash-Shafi'i, Ibn Hajar al-Haytami ash-Shafii, Ahmad Rida Khan al-Hanafi and many others Alayhum Ridwan]

''Allah will never let my Ummah agree upon misguidance, and the hand of Allah is over the group (Jama'ah), so follow the great mass of believers (Sawad ul-'Adham), and whoever dissents from them departs to hell''
[Tirmidhi, Hakim]

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah RadiAllahu Anh that the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam said; ''There will be Dajjals and liars among my Ummah. They will tell you something new, which neither you nor your forefathers have heard. Be on your guard against them, and do not let them lead you astray.' "
[Ahmad, al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah]

Narrated by Abu Dharr RadiAllahu Anh that the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam said, "Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil will be counted for you as sadaqah (charity)."
[Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban]

Narrated Hudhaifa bin al-Yaman RadiAllahu Anhuma; "The people used to ask the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest I should be overtaken by them. So he said; "O Allah's Apostle! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?"
He said; "Yes."
I said; 'Will there be any good after that evil?"
He replied; "Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)''
I asked; "What will be its taint?"
He replied; "(There will be) some people who will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others."
I asked; "Will there be any evil after that good?"
He replied; "Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell) Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell) Fire."
I said" "O Allah s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?"
He said; "They will be from our own people and will speak our language."
I said; "What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my life?"
He said; "Stick to the group of Muslims and their Imam (ruler)."
I said; "If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an Imam (ruler)?"
He said; "Then turn away from all those sects even if you were to bite (eat) the roots of a tree till death overtakes you while you are in that state."
[Bukhari]

Narrated by Abdullah ibn 'Amr RadiAllahu Anh that the SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam said; "The Hour will not come until Allah takes away the best people on earth; only the worst people will be left; they will not know any good or forbid any evil."
[Ahmad, al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah]

NB: Innovation in the context below refers to innovations in the matter of Aqeedah and not Fiqh.

"he who establishes an innovation in Islam regarding it as something good, has claimed that Muhammad has betrayed his trust to deliver the message as God says, 'this day have I perfected for you your religion'. And whatsoever was not part of the religion then, is not part of the religion today."
Whoever believes that there is in Islaam good innovation (bid’ah hasanah) he has believed that Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم) has not fulfilled his mission/message.
“Our land has much innovation (بدعة), and I have compiled a work refuting them.”
[Imam Malik RadiAllahu Anh]

It was once said to Imam Ahmad; ''If a man Fasts, prays and makes Itikaaf, is more beloved to you or that he speaks out against the innovators?''
So he replied; ''If he fasts and prays and makes Itikaaf, then that is for himself, but if he speaks out against the innovators than this is for the Muslims, this is better. If you remain silent, and I remain silent, than how will the ignorant person know (realize) the authentic narrations from the weak''
[Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal RadiAllahu Anh in Majmoo al-Fatawa]

''Do not sit with the people of innovation and desires, nor argue with them, nor listen to them.''
[Hasan al-Basri RadiAllahu Anh]

"Whoever loves Abu Bakr RadiAllahu Anh has established the deen. Whoever loves Umar RadiAllahu Anh has made the way clear. Whoever loves Uthman RadiAllahu Anh has been illuminated by the light of Allah. Whoever loves Ali RadiAllahu Anh has taken hold of the firm handle. Whoever praises the Companions of The Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi wa Sahbihi Wa Sallam is free of hypocrisy. Whoever disparages any of them is an innovator opposing the Sunnah and the right-acting Salaf. It is feared that none of his actions will rise to heaven until he loves them all and his heart is sound."
[Ayyub as-Sakhtiyani RadiAllahu Anh]

''Whoever listens to an innovator (Ahlul Bid'ah) has left the protection of Allah. Again, listening is a far lesser act than actually formally inviting someone to a Sunni gathering who is known to associate with innovators (a person from Ahlul Bid'ah).''
[Sufyan at-Thawri RadiAllahu Anh]

''Even if you see an innovator of religion fly in the air then too you should never accept him''
[Maroof al-Karkhi RadiAllahu Anh]

"Forbid evil and Enjoining good"
[Shaykh ul-Islam Abu Mansoor al-Maturidi RadiAllahu Anh]

"I do not initiate talking with those innovators of misguidance."
[Shaykh ul-Islam Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari]

Shaykh ul-Islam Imam Shaykh Taqi ad-Din Subki Alayhi Rahma said; ''It is permissible to take Tawasul of all Righteous people. Infact no Muslim ever rejected this, only those people who were from different sect (Innovators in religion, Non-Sunni) rejected Tawasul.
[Shaykh ul-Islam Taqi ad-Din Subki Alayhhi Rahma in as-Shifa as-Siqam]

"You are the best of peoples only if you Enjoining good and forbid evil."
[Imam al-Qurtubi Alayhi Rahma]

"You should know that this issue, the enjoining good and forbidding evil, has mostly been neglected over a long period of time. What remains of it today is but a few traces, all despite the fact that it is an important issue which lies at the heart of all affairs."
Therefore, this compliment of our Ummah depends on whether we enjoy these two characteristics. If we do not, we will no longer be worthy of this praise. Indeed, we will deserve chastisement and be doomed for destruction.
[Imam an-Nawawi Alayhi Rahma]

''I do not have the power to avenge the accursed blasphemer myself, but Allah Azza wa Jal knows that my heart despises him; yet, it is not sufficient to merely consider it evil in the heart, rather it is incumbent upon me to strive as much as I can with my tongue and my pen. I beseech Allah Azza wa Jal to not reprimand me for the paucity of my response and that he grants me salvation which He grants those who forbid from evil; Verily, He is Oft-forgiving, the Pardoner''
[Shaykh ul-Islam Taqiyuddin as-Subki Alayhi Rahma in Sayf al-Maslul]

"A Mubtadi (innovator) is the person who does not have the faith (Aqeedah) conveyed unanimously by the Ahle Sunnah. This unanimity was transmitted by the two great Imam's Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari and Abu Mansur al-Maturidi Alayhum Rahma and the scholars who followed their path. Man of Bidd'ah means one whose beliefs are different from the Ahle Sunnah faith Aqeedah). The Ahle Sunnah faith Aqeedah), is the faith Aqeedah) of Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari, Abu Mansur al-Maturidi and those who followed them. One who brings forth something which is not approved by Islam becomes a man of Bbidd'ah."
[Shaykh al-Islam Ahmad ibn Hajar al-Haytami al-Makki]

''Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is a collective duty, if some of the people carry it out then the intent is met and the obligation is lifted, but if it is neglected then everyone is responsible and sinful.''
[Imam an-Nawawi Rahmatullah Alayhi]

''The Qur'an, the Sunnah and the consensus (Ijmah) of the Ummah are in accord that enjoining good and forbidding evil is an (Islamic) obligation."
[Imam an-Nawawi Alayhi Rahma]

"On the Day (of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black"
On the Tafsir of al-Qur'an 3:106,
Ibn Abbas RadiAllahu Anh said; "Those whose faces will be bright will be Ahle Sunnah Wa'l Jama'ah and those whose faces will be dark will be Ahlul Bid'ah Wal Firqah."
[Tafsir Ibn Abbas, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir al-Qurtubi and Tafsir al-Tabari]

"Mixing and uniting with the people of innovation (Ahlul Bid'ah) and the people who have left the Ahul Sunnah is Haram."
[Imam Ahmad Rida Khan Alayhi Rahma]

"To visit the graves of the Auliya is the sign that one has sincere love for Allah. To state that those who visit the graves are innovators or are kuffar (disbelievers) is open misguidance and foolishness"
[Imam Muhammad as-Sawi al-Malik Rahmatullah Alayhi in al-Tafsir al-Sawi]

"Each Believer must protect his faith by learning the creed (Aqeedah) of one of the imams who are incontestably worthy of respect, and well-grounded in knowledge (i.e. from among the followers of Imam al-Ash'ari and Imam al-Maturidi RadiAllahu Anhuma, as indicated in the passages before)"
[Imam Abdallah Ibn Alawi al-Haddad Alayhi Rahma in The Book of Assistance]

You must correct and protect your beliefs and conform to the pattern of the party of salvation, who are those known from among the other Islamic factions as the "People of the Sunnah and Jama'ah" (Ahl as-Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah). They are those who firmly adhere to the way of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and of his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all).
If you look with a sound understanding into those passages relating to the sciences of faith in the Book (Qur'an), the Sunnah, and the saying of the virtuous predecessors, whether they be Companions or followers, you will know for certain that the truth is with the party called the Ashari (NB-the Maturidi's are also upon the truth), named after the Shaykh Abu'l Hasan al-Ashari, may Allah have mercy on him, who systematized the foundations of the creed of the people of the truth, and recorded its earliest versions, these being the beliefs with the Companions and the best among the followers agreed upon."
[ImamAbdallah Ibn Alawi al-Haddad Alayhi Rahma in The Book of Assistance]

"Salvation depends on the fact that every single belief of the Ahle Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah be so firm that one will remain firm even if the sky and the earth vanishes."
[Ahmad Rida Khan Rahmatullah Alayhi]

''When your teachers tie the Imamah (turban) of graduation on your heads, (know) they are passing to you a responsibility. When Fitna and Bid'ah rise, you must respond to it, this is your responsibility.''
[Shaykh Irfan Shah al-Mashadi al-Husayni]

''In every century there will be a Jama'ah presenting Ahlul Haq, the Haq Jama'ah is the Jama'ah what the Sahaba has left, fighting the Batil (Ahlul Bid'ah), The Haq is the Ahlus Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah what the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wwa Sahbihi Wa Sallam stated not Salafis-Wahhabis, Shia's, Deobandis, Tablighis and other minded sect's''
[Shayk Irfan Shah al-Husayni]

''Today people with zero knowledge about the Qur'an and Sunnah have started giving out absurd Fatwas and there by misleading the Muslim Ummah. The destroyers and the enemies of Islam like the Salafis, Wahhabis, Deos, Shi'i and Sullah Qullis
Don't Pull Out Your Bid'ah And Shirk Slogans When The Ahle Sunnah Wal Jama'ah Put Haq There! To throw the Accusation of Shirk on Muslims! Indeed that person is out of the circle of Islam, and Yet not Know what Shirk means!"

They are destroying 1400 years of scholarship to promote misguidance and Kufr!!''

The Excellence of the Muhaditheen

Blessed and fortunate are we that in this era there are still those who are blessed with deep knowledge of the Hadith of Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Sallam). It is our duty and responsibility to seek them out and to receive their blessings. The companions and those after them travelled thousands of miles on occasions, so that they may receive a Hadith of Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Sallam), which they had not received directly. These Imams of Hadith have been blessed with an exalted status in the Court of Allah in this Duniya, and they have been blessed with great excellence in the hereafter as well.

Ibn Asaakir (radi Allahu anhu) reported from Abdullah bin Muhammad Marwazi that he says, ‘I saw Hafiz Ya’qub bin Sufyaan in my dream, so I asked him concerning his condition.  He replied, ‘Almighty Allah pardoned me and said, ‘Just as you used to explain Hadith in the world, explain it here in the skies as well.  Thereafter, I narrated Hadith in the fourth sky and the Angels recorded them with golden pens.  Jibra’eel (alaihis salaam) was also from amongst the scribes (who recorded it)’.’

Abul Qasim Thaabit bin Ahmed bin Husain Baghdadi reported, ‘I dreamt of Abul Qasim Sa’ad bin Muhammad Zanjani (radi Allahu anhu).  He repeatedly said, ‘O Abul Qasim!  For every Majlis (gathering) of the Muhaditheen, Almighty Allah erects for them a Mansion (i.e. Palace) in Jannat’.’

In this era we are blessed with great personalities such as Huzoor Taajush Shariah and Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer, who with the exception of being amongst the Awliyah, they are most definitely great Imams of Hadith in this era.  We should make a concerted effort to sit in their company and even catch a glimpse of their blessed faces.  We should try to listen to Hadith from their blessed lips as these are the servants of Allah through whom we will be pardoned and blessed in the Aakhirat.

Jummah Mubaarak!

Maslak-e-Aala Hazrat Zindabaad!

The Excellence Of Offering A Pillow To A Muslim Brother

It is reported by Sayyiduna Anas Bin Malik (Radi Allahu Anhu) that Sayyiduna Salman Farsi (Radi Allahu Anhu) once went to meet Ameer al-Mu'mineen, Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (Radi Allahu Anhu) who was sitting at that time, leaning on a pillow. He (Radi Allahu Anhu) offered that pillow to Sayyiduna Salman Farsi (Radi Allahu Anhu) so Sayyiduna Salman Farsi (Radi Allahu Anhu) said, "What the Noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has said is the truth indeed."

Ameer al-Mu'mineen, Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (Radi Allahu Anhu) said, "O Abu ‘Abdullah! Do let me know what the Most Dignified Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said."

Sayyiduna Salman Farsi (Radi Allahu Anhu) said, "I once went to the court of the Beloved Mustafa (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam). At that time, he (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) was sitting, leaning on a pillow. He (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) gave me that pillow and said, ‘If a Muslim goes to meet his brother and he offers his pillow to him in his honour, Allah will forgive him.’"

Mi-iraj - PT 6 (MWISHO)‏ (Kiswahili)

Assalaamu alaikum,
Natumai hamjambo.
Kisha Allah Alimjaalia wahyi. Allah Alimuuliza je umeleta nini?
Mtume : Attahiyatu lillahi wasswalawaatu wattayyibaatu.
Maswali / maoni yanakaribishwa.
JazakAllah
Kind Regards,
Muhammad KHATRI

The Noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: One who harms a Muslim or deceives him is cursed. [#Tirmidhi, V3, P107, #Hadith 1948]

One who harms anyone will be harmed and one who causes difficulties to anyone will be put in difficulty by #Allah. [#IbnMajah, #Hadith 2342]

Indeed, Allah gives the #oppressor respite, but when He captures the oppressor, He does not leave. [#Sahih #Bukhari, V5, P255, #Hadith 4686]

Avoid the curse of the oppressed because he asks Allah for his due right and Allah gives people their rights. [Jami' Saghir, #Hadith 119]

The one who #deceives us is not amongst us, #treachery and #cheating is of hell. [#Tabarani, Mu'jam Kabir, Vol. 10, Page 138, #Hadith 10234]

Hidden actions (good deeds) are 70 times better than actions done publicly. [Kanz al-Ummal, Vol. 1, Page 447, #Hadith 1929]

#Jealousy eats away at good deeds as fire eats away at wood. [#Sunan #IbnMajah, Vol. 4, Page 472, #Hadith 4210]

The one who adopts #humility for the pleasure of #Allah, will be raised to the level of the #Illiyyeen. [#Musnad #Ahmad, #Hadith 11724]

The one who is #arrogant in the affairs of Allah, his level will be reduced until he reaches the lowest level. [Musnad Ahmad, #Hadith 11724]

Mi-iraj - PT 5‏ (Kiswahili)

Assalaamu alaikum,
Natumai hamjambo.
Mtume Muhammad Swall-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam aliwasalisha Malaika.
Maswali / maoni yanakaribishwa.
JazakAllah,
Kind Regards,
Muhammad KHATRI

Sheikh Sa'adi Alaihir Rahma on the need of a Murshid

In the time of my childhood I went out with my father on the day of Eid, and in the large mass of people i got lost. I becamed alarmed and started to scream out in fear, when my father suddenly found me and began telling me off, and said:" Several times did I tell you not to let go off my  hand ."
A child knows not, how to go alone; it is difficult to travel anywhere for a child".

Sheikh Sa'adi Alaihir Rahma says for those who want to succed in the path of sulook and spirituality there is a great lesson in the above incident.

One who travels the path of sulook is also like this child ,without the guidance, direction and upbringing by his Sheikh one cannot do anything
so ,become like this  child in your endeavour; go, hold the hand of the virtuous. Sit not with the false, lest you lose all respect but fasten your hand to the straps of the sandles of the pious.
Do not feel shyness in sitting at the feet of the Pious
The one who feels shame in this ,is the one who is always left deprived.
A mureed is like a weak child,The Murshid like a reinforced wall,
a small child learns to walk with the assistance of the wall.
Even a king is in need of a guide and advisor
Go, like Saadi, obtain the corn of wisdom so that you may store a harvest of divine knowledge.

Mi-iraj - PT 4 (Kiswahili)

Assalaamu alaikum,

Natumai hamjambo.

Hakika Allah ndiye Mwenye Kusikia Mwenye Kuona.
Leo tutazungumzia kuhusu jinsi gani watu walivyopinga muujiza huu tukufu.
Makafiri: Je umemsikia sahiba (Mtume Muhammad Swall-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) amesemaje leo?
AbuBakr: Amesema nini?
Makafiri wote walidhalilika.
Maswali / maoni yanakaribishwa.
JazakAllah,
Kind Regards,
Muhammad KHATRI
