Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique RadiAllahu Anhu was deeply devoted to worship, performing each act with remarkable reverence, humility, and sincerity. He was particularly mindful in Salaah, ensuring that it was offered with complete concentration and stillness. Hazrat Sahl bin Saa'd RadiAllahu Anhu reports:
Translation: Hazrat Abu Bakr Radiallahu Anhu would remain completely focused during Salaah, never allowing his gaze to wander.

Hazrat Mujaahid Alaihir Rahma narrates:
Translation: Hazrat Ibne Zubair RadiAllahu Anhu stood for Salaah, he would become so still that he appeared like a motionless wooden post. He would say that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique RadiAllahu Anhu used to perform Salaah in the same manner. This, he explained, is the essence of khushu (inner reverence) and khudu (outward humility) in Salaah.
