Let us now observe the manner in which Sayyidi Ala Hazrat Alaihir Rahmah performed his Salaah. Maulana Muhammad Husain Meeruti narrates:
"The level of calmness, composure, and adherence to the rulings with which Ala Hazrat Alaihir Rahmah offered Salaah is unmatched and difficult to find elsewhere. Whenever I would complete two Rak'aats, he would be in the midst of just one. His four Rak'aats would equate, in terms of devotion and stillness, to the six or even eight Rak'aats of other people.
Such was his intense love for Salaah and his concern for congregation (Jama'at) that even in times of illness, when standing, sitting, or walking became extremely difficult, he would still, without any support, proceed to the masjid by himself as soon as the time for Salaah arrived. Witnessing him in such moments would make one think he was in perfect health."
