Khalifa-e-Akbar Sayyiduna Khwaja Qutb al-Din Bakhtiyaar Ka'aki (Alayhir Rahmah) have collected the blessed Gems of Wisdom by his Peer-o-Murshid Hadrat Khawja Gharib Nawaz Mu'een al-Din Hasan Sanjari Chishti Ajmayri (Alayhir Rahmah). Following are few of the blessed sayings:
1. One who attains purification by washing his private parts before going to bed, the blessed angels become witness and they humbly ask Allah, ‘O Allah forgive him, he had slept after attaining purity’.
2. Salah is a secret, one confides to Allah as it is stated in a blessed Hadith: The one offering Salah shares a secret to his Creator.
3. One who swears a false oath; he deserts his house and blessings and good fortune goes away from his house.
4. The acts pleasing to Allah are to help the depressed, make amends with the aggrieved, feed the hungry and release the prisoners.
5. Company of the pious people is better than virtuous acts and company of wicked people is worse than wicked acts.
6. It is a sign of misfortune that one considers himself noble despite committing sins.
7. If a person has these 3 qualities then he is Allah’s Wali (friend): (i) He is generous like the sea, every creation is blessed alike with his favours. (ii) He is affectionate like the sun whose light is spread for everyone. (iii) He is hospitable like the earth, which is hospitable in exactly the same way towards all.
8. To look lovingly towards your parents is also a reason to gain the pleasure of your creator.
9. An 'Aarif (order of saints) picks one foot and lands on the 'Arsh and with the other comes back again.
10. There is only one thing present in the entire universe and that is the noor (light) of Allah, every thing else is absent.
11. There is only one veil standing between man and his creator and it is called nafs (soul).
12. Do not be disillusioned by the enormity of the universe.
13. If love is not an automatic guide then one will never reach ones destination.
14. Hoarding of wealth and food for profit has become a destructive disease in the body of the nation. To fight and eradicate this disease lies within each citizen.
15. Believe in law, unity and discipline and adopt its principles - you will become trustworthy in this world.
16. Organise your nation according to the economics, political, education and important laws and conditions. Then you will definitely see, you would become such a nation that everybody will accept you and respect you.
17. Freedom does not mean to be unbridled nor does it mean you can do as you please or choose as you wish or say as you will, for freedom is a great responsibility which should be used with great care and intelligence.
18. O! Young people, if you are going to use your strength and power in unnecessary pursuits then later you will regret it.
19. The waters of the streams and rivers when flowing make a lot of noise but when it meets with the sea then there is no more noise. One must ponder over the different stages of it’s behaviour.
20. So much of damage caused by a sin has never been seen, as much as the damage caused by a brother being disrespectful and despicable towards another brother.
