Whoever makes a picture in this world..

Narrated Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu:

I heard The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him) saying,

"Whoever makes a picture in this world will be asked to put life into it on the Day of Resurrection, but he will not be able to do so."

Sahih al-Bukhari 5963

The Radiating Quranic Rays on the Intercession of the Best of Creation

The Radiating Quranic Rays on the Intercession
of the Best of Creation SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam

A few days ago, I received an email in which a brother supplicated to be blessed with the shafa’ah (Intercession) of our beloved Master and Saviour Sayyiduna Muhammad Mustafa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam. However someone raised an objection and asked to be shown any evidence from the Glorious Qur’an and Hadith to prove that the beloved Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam is the Intercessor (on the day of judgment)?

Purity is to Allah! Listening to such questions is really shocking – for one to call himself a Muslim and claim to be a follower of the Sunnah whilst being afflicted by the disease of doubting such clear matters of faith – this is yet another sign that Doomsday is nigh!

Every individual of the Ahl as-Sunnah; man, woman and child – even illiterate villagers – know the basic beliefs: the Vision of Allah, and the shafa’a of the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam which are upon the tongues of every child. At this juncture, I will present a few verses of the Glorious Quran that support the belief that the beloved Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam is the Intercessor of the Sinners by the grace of Allah Almighty.
Verse # 1

It is likely your Lord will set you on a place where everyone will praise you. [Surah Bani Israel 17:79]

It is reported in Hadith that the Holy Prophet, the Intercessor of the sinners, was asked,

"What is the Maqam Mahmoud (Place of Praise)?” He said, "That is Intercession." [Tirmidhi, Abwab Tafsir Surah Bani Israel, Amin Co. Dehli, Vol. 2, Page 142]

Verse # 2

And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. [Surah Al Duha 93:5]

Daylimi has reported from Hadrat Mawla Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, that when this verse was revealed, the Intercessor of the sinners said,

“When Allah, the Supreme, has promised that he will make me pleased, I shall not be pleased even if just one of my followers remains in Hell.” [Tafseer al Kabeer, Vol. 31, Page 213] (O Allah – Blessings & peace and abundance be upon him).

Tabarani in Ma’jam Awsat and Bazzaaz in Musnad narrate from Hadrat Maula Ali that the Intercessor of the sinners says,

“I shall keep on interceding for my Ummah until my Lord will proclaim, "O Muhammad! Are you now satisfied?" I shall say, "O my Lord! Yes I am satisfied.” [Allama Suyuti in ad-Dur ul-Manthoor Fi Tafseer al-Mathoor, Vol. 6, Page 361]

Verse # 3

And seek the forgiveness of the sins of your close ones and for the common believing men and women.” [Surah Muhammad 47:19]

In this verse, Allah the Supreme, commands his Noble Prophet to seek forgiveness of the sins of the Muslim men and Muslim women from Him – so what else is intercession defined as?

Verse # 4

And if they, when they have wronged their own souls, come humbly to you (O dear Prophet Muhammad - peace and blessings be upon him) and seek forgiveness from Allah, and the Noble Messenger intercedes for them, they will certainly find Allah as the Most Acceptor Of Repentance, the Most Merciful. [Surah Nisa’a 4:64]

In this verse, Allah the Supreme, commands the Muslims that having sinned, they should humbly come to the august court of the Noble Prophet and plead him to intercede – so when the beloved intercedes, He will surely forgive them!!

Verse # 5

And when it is said to them, “Come! Allah’s Noble Messenger may seek forgiveness for you” - they turn their heads away. [Surah Munafiqoon 63:5]

This verse highlights the wretched state of the hypocrites – that they do not seek the intercession of the Holy Prophet – the Intercessor of the sinners. So if they do not seek it now, they will not get it in the hereafter, and those who do not get it then - will never get relief. May Allah benefit us with his intercession in this world and in the hereafter. (Aameen)

The Islamic Vaccine

The Hadith states, If a person sees anyone in distress or sickness and reads the following Du'a, he will be protected from those calamities.

[Jaami' Tirmidhi, Abwaab al-Da'waat]

Have full trust in the Divine protection of Allah that will always protect you from all evil and hardships.

Note: Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam) states in a Hadith Shareef: “Do not regard three sicknesses as Makrooh (undesirable). One is colds, which destroys the roots of many ailments. Two, is itching of the skin which protects skin diseases and leprosy, and three, inflammation of the eyes which prevents blindness.” [Al-Malfuz, Vol. 1, Page 23]

Use The Tongue Wisely

Reported from Abu Hurayrah RadiAllahu Anhu:

The Noble Prophet sal Allahu `alayhi wa sallam said, ‘A person, who speaks only so that he could amuse people, falls into hell at depth which is greater than the distance between the sky and the earth. And the amount of errors that are caused by the tongue, are far more than the errors caused by the foot’.

Assalaamu alaikum,
Natumai hamjambo. Ijumaa Kareem
Maswali / maoni yanakaribishwa – ingawa kimya kimezidi mno ndugu zanguni!!!

Hadith e Noor

Pupil of Imam Maalik and the teacher of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal and Hafidh al-Hadith Imam Abdur Razzaq Abu Bakr bin Hamman, the teacher of the teachers of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, in his Book "Musannaf", has narrated from Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari and his son (Radi Allahu Anhuma), that he asked the Holy Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon Him):

"O Prophet of Allah (SallAllahu Alayihi wa Sallam) ! My parents be sacrificed upon you, What did the Almighty Allah first create?" The Prophet (SallAllahu Alayihi wa Sallam) replied: "Allah first created my Noor (Light) of His Noor. This Noor traveled about according to the Will of Allah. At that time, there was no Heaven, Hell, Lawh (Divine Tablet), Pen, Earth, Skies, Sun, Moon, Jinn or Human Beings. When He decided to create, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Pen, from the second, the Lawh and from the third, he made the Arsh Throne). He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one, He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second, the Kursi (Divine Chair) and from the third, He created the Angels. He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From one, He created the skies. The second was used in creating the planets. From the third, Heaven and Earth were created. Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one part He created the power with which the believers see. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Marifat. From the third, He created in the tongues of the Believers, Noor, so that they can read the Kalima of Tawheed."

Cured Because Of His Devotedness!

An Abyssinian [Habashi] slave who loved Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) committed a theft. He was brought to Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu). Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) asked him: Did you steal? He said: Yes. Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) ordered that his hand should be cut. When that person returned from Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu), he met Hadrat Salman Farisi (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) and Ibnul Kara. Ibnul Kara asked him: Who cut your hand? He said: The Commander of the Faithful, the great leader of the Muslims, the son-in-law of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam), the husband of Hadrat Fatima (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha). He asked him: Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) cut off your hand and you are praising him? He said: Why should I not praise him? He has cut off my hand as justice and has released me from the fire of hell.

When Hadrat Salman Farisi (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) heard this, he conveyed this to Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu). Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) summoned that Abyssinian slave and placed his blessed hand on his arm and covered it with a kerchief and recited some prayers. The narrator says: Suddenly, we heard a voice from sky: Remove the cloth from the hand. Lo and behold! By the will of Allah Ta'ala and because of his devotedness, he was cured.

There are numerous religious affairs of Muslims, such as; the appointment of an Imam and Khateeb for Jummah and both Eids, issues relating to administration of the inheritance of an orphan child who has no legal guardian, issues regarding annulment of marriages and numerous other issues related to separation between husband and wife and in the same way there are many other contentions relating to judicial issues, for all of which, it is extremely necessary to have a Qaazi (Muslim Justice) in authority. It is thus necessary for every city, district, province and country to have a Muslim Justice (Religious Judge) in authority, so that the affairs of the Muslims may be properly settled.

Where there is a Sovereign Muslim State, there, it is the responsibility of the Sovereign Righteous Muslim Ruler (Sultaanul Islam) to appoint the Qaazi and where there is no Sovereign Muslim State, then there, the Most Knowledgeable amongst the Ulama-e-Deen is regarded by the being appointed by the Will of Allah as the Qaazi and the one responsible for the administration of the General appointment of leadership responsibilities and the judicial affairs of the Muslims. It is he who is appointed as being appointed from the Divine Court of Allah as the Islamic leader, The Guardian of the Religion of Islam and the Muslim Justice in authority and it becomes Waajib (compulsory) upon the Muslims to turn towards him in order to resolve their religious and other issues.

In the situation where there is no Sultaan al-Islam (Righteous Muslim Ruler), the administration and management of appointment is the responsibility of the Ulama and their aides. It becomes their responsibility to appoint the Most Knowledgeable Aalim as the Qaazi of their affairs. It is the responsibility of the Ulama and their aides of a district to appoint a Qaazi for their district. Likewise it is the responsibility of the Ulama and their aides to appoint a Qaazi for their respective province, whilst it is the responsibility of the Ulama and the aides on the entire country to appoint the “Qaazi-Ul-Quz’zaah” (Chief Justice) for the entire country. In a case where the Ulama and the aides are negligent and apathetic in the issues of managing the said responsibility, then the general (Muslim) public may together mutually agree on appointing a Qaazi for the reason of deciding their religious cases and affairs. Now, if both the general public and the responsible member of community are negligent of this responsibility, then the most knowledgeable amongst the Ulama as per the Will of Allah will be regarded as the Qaazi and it will be become necessary upon the Muslims to turn towards him for their religious affairs.

Aala Hadrat (Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) states in Fatawa Razvia as follows: “In the affairs of the Muslims and for the reason of granting rights of administration for (the property) of Muslim minors (children), it is a necessary condition, for the Qaazi to be a Muslim. Thus it is clear about the necessity of Muslim Justices with authority in the Shariah in a Muslim state and where in reality there is no Islamic State, and the Muslims there have together after consultation appointed a Muslim as the Qaazi to settle their religious cases, then he will be regarded as per the Shariah he is regarded as the Qaazi. It is compulsory upon the Muslims to turn towards him for settlement of their affairs and they should act upon his commands. He should appoint the administrators of the affairs of the orphans who have no legal guardians and those minors who have no legal guardians should be married (when reaching age) on his recommendation.” [Fatawa Razvia, Vol. 7 – Page 338]

He (Aala Hadrat Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) further says, “To fulfill these religious necessities, to appoint a Qaazi after mutual agreement for these affairs and for the reason of appointing an Imam and Khatib for Jummah and for both the Eids, and in separation cases of Li’aan (cursing by parties in marriage), Unain (rulings regarding an impotent person), issues of taking a wife, rulings regarding minors without guardians and the annulment of marriages and related issues of puberty and other examples such as these, in which there is no legal implications, then, to appoint someone for this is without doubt advisable. Even the government has never objected to this. Even those people who have appointed their groups and have even sorted out their financial and religious as their primary system, then, this in this too, they find no objection from government.”

The most knowledgeable amongst the Ulama in the Country is made the Qaazi of his city and his jurisdiction and authority is his city including the nearest and furthest areas of (the city) and all its suburbs. The authority of the most knowledgeable Aalim of a district is his district. The authority of the most knowledgeable Aalim of a state is his entire state, whereas the authority and jurisdiction of the most knowledgeable amongst all the Ulama in the country is in different cities, towns and states through the agreement of the Ulama and aides of the numerous cities, towns and states, for the administration of (affairs) and actually (he) has authority over the entire country.

After presenting the above detailed discussion, it must be said that both the general Muslim masses and the special servants amongst the Muslims know well that the Markaz (Centre) of the Ahle Sunnat is “BAREILLY SHAREEF”, from where, for more than two hundred years the responsibility of guiding the Muslims in their religious and social affairs is being fulfilled. It is the result of this exceptionally given Direction and Judicial masterfulness, that the entire Ahle Sunnat wa Jama’at has recognized Bareilly Shareef as the Markaz.

The personality of the Mujaddid (Reformer) of the 14th Century Hijri Mujaddid-e-Azam Imam-e-Ahle Sunnat Aala Hadrat (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) needs no introduction. This is that unique personality of the Era and this Emperor of Hanafi Fiqh who was the most knowledgeable personality in the country. On the basis of his vast knowledge and is masterfulness in Islamic Jurisprudence, Aala Hadrat (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) was appointed in the exalted position of Chief Justice of the entire undivided India by the Will of Allah. He was the direction of the entire Muslims masses and the Ulama of India and he was the one towards who all turned for religious decrees. Aala Hadrat (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) then appointed his beloved student (and son) Mufti-e-Azam Aalam-e-Islam Hadrat Allama Mufti Mohammed Mustafa Raza Qadri and his chosen student and Khalifa Sadrush Shariah Hadrat Allama Mufti Mohammed Amjad Ali Razvi (May their blessings be upon us) as the Chief Justices of the entire India, just as it was mentioned in detail and presented in numerous composition on Moon Sighting, during the second seminar on Islamic Jurisprudence hosted by “SHAR’I COUNCIL OF INDIA”

Then, Huzoor Mufti-e-Azam Hind (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) appointed Sultanul Fuqaha Taajush Shariah Hadrat Allama Mufti Mohammed Akhtar Raza Khan Al Qadri as his True Successor and Spiritual Heir handing him authority over all his Religious affairs such as in the field of issuing decrees and in Judicial matters and at the same time granted him authority over all his spiritual affairs. In other words, Huzoor Taajush Shariah is actually the Chief Justice of the entire India, and it is for this reason that in Bareilly Shareef, the general Muslim masses and the ulama turn towards him for advice in appointment of Imam and Khatib for the Jummah and both Eids and for the announcement of Moon Sighting confirmations and all other issues related to jurisprudence and decrees and he inturn fulfills this great responsibility and due to his vast knowledge and his masterful ability in jurisprudence, his is appointed by the Will of Allah for the Leadership and the responsibility of Qaazi and the entire India accepts him as the one to turn towards in issues of judiciary and for religious decrees.

This year, during the Urs-e-Razvi, in an audience of hundreds of thousands, and in the presence of scores of learned Ulama and other religious Dignitaries, Huzoor Muhadith-e-Kabeer (Hadrat Allama Mufti Zia ul Mustafa Qadri Amjadi Qibla) announced that Huzoor Taajush Shariah is the Chief Justice of India as appointed through The Will of Allah and all the Ulama and Muslim masses present during this massive gathering immediately and wholeheartedly accepted this grand announcement. Huzoor Taajush Shariah commanded Maulana Mohammed Shu’aib Raza Saaheb to explain the reason for this appointment further. Duties of Children towards Deceased Parents

Duties of Children towards Deceased Parents
by AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan al-Baraylawi Alaihir raHmah

A question was asked to the Great Mujaddid AlaHadrat Ash-Shah Imam Ahmad Rida Khan al-Qadiri (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) regarding the Duties of Children towards deceased Parents, over which he stated the following points:

1. The first and foremost duty of the children after the death of the parent is that he should immediately arrange and take part in Ghusl, Salat al-Janaza (Funeral Prayer) and Burial which should be done in accordance with the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, and hope for them to receive the Mercy of Almighty Allah.

2. He should always make Dua and Istighfar for them at all times and never be unconscious about it.

3. He should give out Sadaqah and Khayrat (Charity) and always send the rewards of good deeds (Aa'mal-e-Sawleh) to them in accordance to his personal capacity. When performing Salah and keeping Fast (Roza), do likewise for them. Actually, for any good deed performed, the Sawab should be forwarded to them and all deceased Muslims and this will not affect the benefits one will receive, in any way. On the contrary, the Sawab of such acts will be beneficial to himself, his parents and all the deceased of the Ummah.

4. If the parents left behind any kind of debts or credits it should be paid in full immediately from one's personal wealth, which should be regarded as blessings of this Duniya and Aakhirah. If you cannot afford to pay, assistance should be taken from the family, close friends or charitable Muslims.

5. If he has not performed Hajj, firstly, try to perform his Hajj-e-Badal for him personally, or send someone as a representative to do so. If he has any previous Zakah to be paid, do so immediately. If he has any Qada of Salat or Roza (Fasting) perform the Kaffarah for him. The children should, in all aspects, try their best to execute the duties of their parents which were left undone.

6. Whatever desires and wishes were made by the parent should be carried out even though it may displease you and the Shariah does not compel you to. For example, if he has made a Wasiyat (Wish) to give half of his wealth or belongings to a dear friend, non-inheritor or total outsider, even though in accordance to the Law of the Shariah, one-third of the wealth or belongings cannot be given to anyone without the consent of the heirs, it is best for the heirs to execute the Wasiyat and priority to the wishes and happiness of the deceased.

7. If he has taken an oath, carry it out after his death. If the parents had sworn an oath that their child must not do a certain thing or not meet with a certain person or must not go to a certain place, it must not be discarded after the death, saying :"Well, they are not alive so I can do certain things." Wrong! One should abide by it as he did while they were alive, as long as it does not conflict with the Shariah.

8. Visit their graves every Friday and recite Surah Yaseen at the graveside loudly and pass the Thawab of recitation to them. While travelling, never pass their graves without greeting and performing Fatiha.

9. As long as you live, be kind to their relatives.

10. Maintain friendship and respect for all their relatives.

11. Never, at any time, insult anyone's parents, so that they may not insult yours.

12. The most difficult duty is never to commit any sin and inflict harm to them in their graves. All deeds of the children are taken to their parents in the grave. On seeing the good deeds they are very pleased and their faces glitter with happiness. On the contrary, if they see the bad deeds or sins, they become very sad.

O! Merciful and Most Forgiving Allah! The Almighty and All Powerful! On behalf of your most Beloved Prophet, Mercy of the Universe (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam), protect us from sins and grant us the guidance and courage to always do good. Fill the graves of our elders and deceased with Light and happiness. O Allah! You are the All Powerful, we are the weak. You are the Wealthy and we are the poor. Protect us... Aameen!!

It Doesn't Suit A Man To Perform Sajdah To Another Man

Hadrat Hafs (May Allah be well pleased with him) narrates on the authority of Hadrat Anas (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: In the house of one of the Ansar, there was camel whom he would use in irrigation of his fields. That camel became rebellious and would not allow anyone to mount it. He came to the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and said: O Prophet of Allah! We have a camel whom we would use in irrigation. It has become rebellious and stops us from riding it. The fields and the orchards of date palms have dried up.

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) told his Sahabah: Get up. All of them got up and the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) went to the orchard. The camel was in one corner of the orchard. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) went there. The Sahabi said: O Prophet of Allah! This camel has become like a mad dog. I fear it will harm You. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: I have nothing to worry from it. When the camel saw the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam), it came towards Him, prostrated (Sajdah) to Him and sat before Him. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) held the hair of its forehead. It became as well-behaved as it never had been. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) put it back to work.

The Sahabah said: O Prophet of Allah! This is an animal. It does not have any sense, but still prostrates before You. We have sense and intellect. We are more deserving than it to prostrate to You. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: It does not suit a man to perform a Sajdah to another man.

Blessed Shrine of the Blessed Companion Abdur-Rahman Bin 'Awf

The Blessed Shrine of The Venerable Companion:
"Abdur-Rahman Bin Awf" (Allah be pleased with him)
in Amman:

Natumai hamjambo.

The Excellence of Keeping the Names "AHMAD" & "MUHAMMAD"

The Holy Prophet Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him has two personal names. He is known as Ahmad in the past scriptures and Muhammad in the Holy Qur'an. There are countless attributive names of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him. He is known by a distinct name in different areas. Every area (skies, earth, oceans, mountains, etc.) knows him by a special name and he is addressed accordingly.

There are numerous Fada'il (Excellence and Benefits) of keeping the names "AHMAD" and "MUHAMMAD" as mentioned in many sayings (Ahadith) of the best of the Creation; the Master of Mankind Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him. Few of them are stated below:

1. It is stated in Tabarani that the Holy Prophet Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him said, "Keep the names (of your children) on my name and not on my Kunniyat (Title)."

2. Ibn Asakir and Hussain Ibn Ahmad has stated that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him said, "If a son is born to you and out of love and respect for me and to obtain the blessings of my name, you keep the child's name 'Muhammad', then the father and child will both enter Jannah."

3. Hafidh Abu Tahir and Hafidh Ibn Bakeer narrates on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him  said, "On the day of Qiyamah two persons will be summoned to the Court of ALLAH. The verdict would be - 'take them both to Jannah!' They would say, 'O Almighty ALLAH! We have performed no good deed to entitle us to enter Jannah!' ALLAH will command again, 'Take them to Jannah because I have taken an oath that I will not put any person in Jahannam (Hell) whose name is Ahmad or Muhammad.'"

NOTE: Elaborating on the above Hadith, A'laHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu) states: "That person is a Mu'min (Believer) and according to the Quran, the Hadith and the Sahaba, a Mu'min is he who has sound and correct beliefs of the Ahle Sunnah Wa Jama'ah, that is, 'Sunni Sahih-ul-Aqida'. On the contrary, as for those who are misled and possess incorrect Aqaid are, according to Hadith Shareef, dogs of Jahannam whose deeds are rejected, and even if they are innocently murdered between Hajre Aswad and Makame Ibraheem and have Sabr and hopes for reward from ALLAH, then too ALLAH will not show any mercy towards them but sentence them to Hell. These Ahadith have been narrated by Daarqutni, Ibn Majah, Baihaqi and Ibn Jawzi etc from Hadrat Abu Umaama and Hadrat Huzaifa and Hadrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ra'aala Anhum Ajma'een) and this faqeer (AlaHadrat) has quoted these narrations in numerous of his Fatawa. Now, it must be noted that there is no glad tidings in this Hadith (about those whose names are Muhammad and Ahmad), for kuffaar like Muhammed bin Abdul Wahab Najdi or Sayid Ahmed Khan whose maslak is clearly kufr, since even the fragrance of Jannat is definitely haraam upon the kaafirs." [Ahkaam-e-Shariat]

4. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him states: "My Lord has mentioned to me, 'I swear by My Sight and greatness that whosoever is named after you shall never be destroyed by the Fire of Hell.'" [Hilyah Abu Nu'aym]

5. Ameer al-Mu'mineen Sayyiduna Ali (Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anhu) narrates that Rasoollulah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him states: "Those who sit in a company and eat food, and if there is a person amongst them by the name of Ahmad or Muhammad, then that entire group would receive the blessing of ALLAH twice daily." [Hafidh Ibne Bakeer, Waylami, Musnad Abi Saeed Naqqash, Ibn Adi Kaamil]

Shortly, in homes where persons with these sacred names live, ALLAH blesses that home twice daily.

6. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him states: "What would you lose if in your homes there is one, two or three Muhammad's." [Tabaqat Ibne Sa'ad]

7. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him states: "When a group sit in consultation and if a person by the name of Muhammad is amongst them, but is not included in such a meeting, ALLAH does not bestow Barakah in such a meeting." [Taraifi, Ibne Jawzi]

8. The Glorious Prophet of ALLAH Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him  said: "He who is blessed with three sons and does not name one Muhammad is indeed a Jahil (Ignorant)." [Tabarani, Mau'jam al-Kabeer]

9. The Holy Prophet Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him said: "When you name the child Muhammad, respect him, make place and accommodate him in a gathering and do not accuse or curse him." [Hakim, Musnad al-Firdous, etc.]

10. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him said: "When you name your son Muhammad, do not hit him, deprive him or rob him." [Musnad, Bazar]

It is preferable (MustaHsan) to keep the child's name "Muhammad" alone and not to add any name to it because the excellence of the sacred name alone has been mentioned in the aHadith. [An Nooru Wad Diya, pages 18 to 24]

11. Imam Sakhaawi narrated on the authority of Imam Ataa (Radi Allahu Anhu) [Taabi’ee, who is the distinguished Teacher of Imam al-A’ima Sayyidina Imam al-Azam Abu Hanifa Radi Allahu Anhuma] as follows: “One who wishes for his pregnant wife to have a boy baby, he should place his hand on her stomach and say,

If it is a boy, then I have named him Muhammad.

In sha Allah a boy will be born.

Gardens of the Virtuous

Ibn 'Abbaas (May Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said,

"If a son of Adam were to possess a valley full of gold, he would like to have two such valleys; nothing would fill his mouth but dust, and Allah accepts repentance from those who perform it."

[al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Increases Your Supplications For Me...

Hazrat Aws ibn Aws Radi Allahu Anhu reported:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“Verily, the most virtuous of your days is Friday. Adam was created on it, and on it he passed away, and on it the trumpet will be blown and the shout will be made, so increase your supplications for me for your supplications are presented to me.”

They said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will our supplications reach you once you have decayed?”

The Prophet said, “Verily, Allah the Exalted has forbidden the bodies of the prophets from decaying.”

[Sunan Abu Dawud 1047]

Let's Increase Our Durood Recitation...

Sayyiduna Abdur Rahmaan bin Auf (RADHIYALLAAHU ANHU) narrates: We, the Sahaba, used to spend day and night in the company of Nabi SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM.

The reason being that we never separated from him was so that we could be of assistance to him in any matter.

One day as Nabi SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM left his house, I followed him. He entered an orchard and he went into Salaah. He prolonged his Sajdah to such a degree that I began to cry with the thought that perhaps his soul had been taken away.

When he completed his Sajdah, he came up to me and asked as to what the problem was. I replied, "O Nabi of ALLAH, I thought that maybe Almighty ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALAH) had taken away your blessed soul and that I would never be able to see you again".

Nabi SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM replied, "Verily, my Creator has rewarded me. Therefore, I prolonged the Sajdah. The reward which I speak about was that my Creator has promised me that whosoever amongst my Ummah reads a single Durood, ten of his sins are pardoned and he is rewarded with ten good deeds".
(Saadaatud Daarain)

Let us increase our Durood recitation upon the best of creation...

You are the torch of Prophethood, the universe your ardent devotees.
You are the bright moon of Nabuwwat, manifestation of the Beloved.

Khaate he tere dar ka, peete he tere dar ka

Paani he tera paani, daana he tera daana

From your court we eat, and from your court we drink,
The water in reality is your water; the food in reality is your food.

Jo saaki-e-kausar ke, chehre se niqaab ut'he,
Har dil bane mekhana, har aankh ho paimaana
If the Blessed Face of the Distributor of Kawthar were to be unveiled,
Every heart will be intoxicated and all eyes witnessing this will be lost in its Love.

Sange dar jaana par, karta hu jabeen saayi,
Sajda na samaj najdi, sar deta hu nazraana
When I lower my head in the court of my Beloved,
Do not think of this as prostration O Najdi (Wahabi), for I am just presenting my head as an offering.

Sarkaar ke jalwo se, rawshan he dille Noori,
Taa hashr rahe rawshan Noori ka ye kashaana
Through the manifestation of the Beloved Prophet SallAllahu Ta'aala Alaihi Wa Sallam, the heart of Noori is radiant.
Until the day of Hashr, may this abode of Noori be forever luminous.
