The Muslims’ traditional method of Fatiha (Eesaal-e-Sawaab) is as follows:
1. Commence with reciting Ta'awwuz (A'uzu Billah) and Tasmiyah (Bismillah).
2. Recite Surah al-Kafirun once.
3. Recite Surah al-Ikhlas 3 times.
4. Recite Surah al-Falaq once.
5. Recite Surah al-Naas once.
6. Recite Surah al-Fatiha once.
7. First 5 verses of Surah al-Baqarah
8. Verse 63 of Surah al-Baqarah
9. Verse 56 of Surah al-Aa'raf
10. Verse 107 of Surah al-Anbiya
11. Verse 40 of Surah al-Ahzab
12. Aayat-e-Durood i.e. Verse 56 of Surah al-Ahzab
13. Recite Durood Sharif
14. Verse 82 of Surah al-Saffaat.
Now, raising hands, the reciter of ‘Fatiha’ should loudly say “Al-Fatihah.” All the attendees should recite Surah Fatiah in low voice. Now, the reciter may make Esaal-e-Sawab.
