Tere Daaman e Karam Mein + English Translation

Tere daaman-e karam mein jisay neend aa gayi hai,
Jo fana na hogi aisi usey zindagi mili hai.
Whoever went to sleep in the folds of your generosity!
Has found an everlasting life, a life of infinity!
Mujhey kya padee kisi se karooN arz mudda'a mein,
Meri lau to bas unhee ke dar-e Jood se lagi hai.
Why shall I bother to plead my case to anyone else?
My focus is directed only towards his munificent house!
Teri yaad thapki dekar mujhey ab Shaha sulaa dey,
Mujhey jaagte hue yoon badi der ho gayi hai.
May your remembrance O King, thump and put me to sleep now!
For I have been awake like this, for a long time now!
Mai maruN to mere maula ye malaika se kehdeiN,
Koi iss ko mat jagana abhi aankh lag gayi hai.
May my master say to the angels when I die!
“He has just gone to sleep, let him peacefully lie!”
Jo paey swaal aaye mujhay dekh kar ye boleiN;
Issay chein se sulaaoo ke ye banda e Nabi hai.
May those who come to question, upon seeing me proclaim!
“Put him to sleep in comfort, for he is the Prophet’s bondman!”
Wo jahan bhar ke daata mujhe fer denge khaali;
Meri tauba ai Khuda ye mere nafs ki bari hai
Will he, the Giver to the world, turn me away empty-handed?
O Allah, forgive me! This thought is the evil of my soul indeed!
Mein gunahgaar huN aur badey martabon ki khwahish;
Tu magar Kareem hai jo teri banda parwari hai
I am a sinner, but still I long for lofty positions!
Yet you endow the slaves, for indeed you are the generous!
Ay naseem-e koo-e jaanaaN zara soo-e bad naseebaaN,
Chali aa, khuli hai tujh pey, jo hamari Bekasi hai,
O the cool breeze of the beloved's home, blow also towards the luckless!
Come hither! For well-known to you is our helplessness!
Tera Dil shikasta Akhtar isi intezaar mein hai;
Ke abhi naweede wuslat Tere Dar se aa rahi hai
Your tired heart O Akhtar, has long been waiting only for it!
Here come the glad tidings of a meeting, from the court of the Holy Prophet.
Billions of blessings and salutations of peace be upon the Holy Prophet; and upon his noble wives, his noble progeny, his noble companions and all those who rightly follow him until the Last Day.

When You See Any Wrong...

Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrated that the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

When you see any wrong amongst you, change it physically, if you cannot then rectify it verbally. If this is not possible then dislike it in your heart and this is the weakest state of Imaan.

[Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Iman, Page 44, Hadith 49]

Do Not Be The Fifth

Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrates that the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

Get up in the morning in a state that you be an Aalim or a student (of the sacred knowledge) or one who listens to the words of an Aalim or one who loves and respects the Ulama. Do not be in the fifth state (other than the above four) because you will be destroyed.

[Tabarani, Mu'jam al-Awsat, Vol. 5, Page 231, Hadith 5171]

Supplication for Paying off Debt

Hadrat Sayyiduna Ali (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrated: Should I not teach you the words that the beloved Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) taught me? If you had a debt upon you similar to the mountain of Sir, Allah would fulfill it for you. He (Radi Allahu Anhu) then recited:

اللهم اكفني بحلالك عن حرامك وأغنني بفضلك عمن سواك
Allahummakfini bi Halaalika ‘An Haraamika, wa Aghnini bi fadlika ‘Amman Siwaaka. [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 5, Page 329, Hadith 3574]

AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (Alayhir Rahmah) commented: Recite this Dua 11 times daily after every Salah and 100 times each morning and evening beginning and ending with 11 Durood Sharif, the Barkaah of this Dua will In sha Allah settle your debts. [Al-Malfooz, Vol. 4, Page 439]

Reward of 100 Martyrs

The Revered and Renowned Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has said,

Whoever firmly keeps to my Sunnah during the turmoil of my Ummah, will gain the reward of hundred martyrs. [Bayhaqi, Az-Zuhd al-Kabeer, Vol. 1, Page 118, Hadith 207]

Commenting on the above Hadith, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naeemi (Alayhir Rahmah) has stated,

This is because the martyr gains success after he receives injuries from a sword only once but this bondman of Allah receives injuries from the tongues of people throughout his life, enduring their taunts. He bears every type of trouble for the sake of Allah and His Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam). The Jihad he performs is Jihad-e-Akbar which also includes, in the present age, growing a beard and refraining from interest etc. [Mira'at al-Manajih, Vol. 1, Page 174]

Pardon Your Brother, Hold His Hand And Go To Jannah

On the Day of Qiyamah, there would be such great abundance of mercies and favors, yet there will be some who will exercise the lack of it. It is recorded in the Hadith Sharif that a person will be ordered to go to Jannah. He will want to go but the one who will demand his right will stop him. This person will say, “Oh Allah! Grant me my rights from this brother of mine.” Allah will order all the good deeds of the person to be given to fulfill the complainant’s rights. Though all the good deeds will be given, but the rights will not be fulfilled.

However, the complainant will again demand his rights. Allah will order all the bad deeds of the complainant to be put on the accused for repayment. This will be done, but the rights will still not be fulfilled. The complainant will again demand his rights from his fellow Muslim brother whereupon Allah will say, “You were given all his good deeds and all your bad deeds were loaded upon him. Now what does he have for you to take?” The complainant will still persist, “Oh Allah! Grant me the balance of my rights.”

Almighty Allah will order the Angels to elaborately decorate a Palace and bring it forward from Jannah. Everyone will be astonished by it’s splendor and beauty. Allah will then say, “I am selling this Palace. Is there anyone to buy it?” The complainant will say, “Oh My Lord! Who has the wealth to buy this?” Allah will reply, “But you have the value!” He will say in amazement, “And what is that my Lord?” The command will be, “The price is to pardon your brother, hold his hand and go to Jannah.”

Panj Ganj e Qadiri

Huzur Ghauthul Azam Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al Jilani Radi Allahu Ta'aala Anhu has commanded his Mureedeen to recite the five treasures of the Qadiri Order after each Salah 100 times.By adding the Blessed name of Allah Almighty it completes its astounding benefits;

1.YAA AZEEZU YAA ALLAH (O All Mighty One, O Allah) after Fajr Salah

2.YAA KAREEMU YAA ALLAH (O Ever Generous One ,O Allah ) after Zuhr Salah

3.YAA JABBAARU YAA ALLAH ( O All Compelling One, O Allah ) after Asar Salah

4.YAA SATTAARU YAA ALLAH ( O Coverer of faults, O Allah ) after Maghrib Salah

5.YAA GHAFFAARU YAA ALLAH ( O All Forgiving One ,O Allah ) after Isha Salah.

Men of extreme spiritual wisdom know very well the secrets these particular supplications hold and what benefits the timing of these supplications hold.

My habit is one of summarizing so i will present a brief summary below;

1.YAA AZEEZU has been commanded to us to read after the Fajr prayer, this is due to the commencing of the day, one is preoccupied in fulfilling his worldly chores and will comes into contact with friends and enemies. Ya Azeez means O All Mighty, The Strong, Dignified and Powerful.

By reciting this attribute one will overcome all problems and will gain honour, dignity and respect especially when faced with difficult situations.

Without doubt one who remembers Allah Almighty is honorable and overcomes his adversaries .

2.YAA KAREEMU has been commanded to us to read after the Zuhr Salah. The rule is that flowers open their buds in the evening and spread their fragrance throughout the night and wither in the afternoon, therefore to recite this attribute at this time one has great hope of increasing ones sustenance.

3.YAA JABBAARU is to be read after the Asar Salah, it is from the Asmaae Jalaaliyyah (very powerful) and is an Isme Qehri. The time of Asar is when iblees calls a meeting on the surface of the ocean with great pride and show, where all the shayaateen gather to discuss ways in which to deceive and destroy mankind. Every Human has an individual shaytaan who attends this meeting and it is here where it is decided between the shaytaans that you will do this and i will do that.

Therefore this is the time to remember Allah Almighty with this name so that his wrath be on these shayateen and his protection be on us from their mischief.

4.YAA SATTAARU is to be read after Maghrib Salah once the sun has set, and darkness sets. This is the time when animals of prey, snakes, thieves, robbers and other harms are out and about. Calamities and catastrophes swirls around in the darkness, hence the meaning of reciting this supplication is to call on the Almighty to protect and safeguard us from all these dangers. Furthermore mankind tends to commit more sins during the night, which is why one should seek his protection at the beginning of the night so that we are veiled from this and we remain steadfast .

5. YAA GHAFAARU is to be read after Isha Salah, the sins committed by mankind during the day for which he is punishable, The Mercy of Allah Almighty prevents the Kiraaman Kaatibeen ( Honourable recorders ) from recording these until one goes to sleep without repenting and asking for forgiveness.

If one asks for forgiveness and repents for his sins before sleeping i.e by reciting Yaa Ghafaaru Allah Almighty will erase these from his book of bad deeds.

This is also one of the reasons we have been instructed to avoid worldly conversation after the Isha Prayer, and also to delay Isha for a part of the night is better so that one can sleep immediately after performing Isha Salah.

The benefits of repenting cannot be described .It is stated in a Hadith Shareef the one who repents after sinning it is like he has not committed that sin at all. ( Sunan ibn Maajah ,Sunan albayhaqi alkubra )

In another Hadith Shareef it is stated glad tidings be for one who finds plenty of istighfaar in his book of deeds ..(Ibn Maaajah ,baabul istighfaar )

In Surah Nooh it is stated [Nooh 71:10] “I therefore told them, ‘Seek forgiveness from your Lord; He is indeed Most Forgiving.

[Nooh 71:11] ‘He will send down abundant rain for you from the sky.’

[Nooh 71:12] ‘And will aid you with wealth and sons, and will create gardens for you and cause rivers to flow for you.’

Sayyiduna Huzaifa Radi Allahu Taala Anhu one presented his ailment of his tongue, in the Blessed court of the Most Beloved Salal laahu Alaihi Wa Aalihee Wasallam which wasnt being cured by medicines, to which The Most Beloved Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam prescribed Istighfaar.(alzohd li'ibn Hambal)

Imaam Ul Aarifeen Sayyiduna Hassan Basri Radi Allahu Anhu was approached by a group of people at the time of famine to which the great Imam prescribed Repentance in abundance, one complained of difficulty with finances and daily life to which they again prescribed repentance with abundance. Another complained regarding his crops withering and drying and his orchards drying up to which he was also given the wazifa of repentance. After this the final questioner asked regarding him not having any children he also was given the wazifa of repenting and begging for forgiveness, due to istighfar all these people were successful in their needs.

Supplication of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam)

The Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) supplicated:

اللهم أعز الإسلام بعمر بن الخطاب خاصة
“O Allah! Honour Islam, especially through Umar ibn Khattab”. [Sunan Ibn Majah, Page 71, Hadith 102]

After this supplication, the honour that was given to Islam and the Muslims, and the calamities that were repelled by Hadrat Sayyiduna Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) are all well known. It is for this reason Hadrat Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (Radi Allahu Anhu) said,

“We have always been revered and honoured since Umar accepted Islam.” [Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Page 520]

He (Radi Allahu Anhu) has also said,

“Umar’s coming into the folds of Islam was a victory for Islam.  His migration was a support and his caliphate was a blessing.  Indeed we saw that we couldn’t possibly pray our Salah in the House of Allah (Masjid al Haram) till Umar accepted Islam.” [Usdul Ghabah, Vol. 3, Page 648]

Furthermore,

“We did not pray our Salah openly till Umar accepted Islam. When he accepted Islam, Islam gained strength and he called people towards Islam openly.” [Al-Riyadh an-Nadara, Vol. 2, Page 244]

Hadrat Suhayb bin Sinan (Radi Allahu Anhu) states,

“When Umar accepted Islam, we sat around the house of Allah (Ka’aba), performed the Tawaf and he did justice on our behalf upon those who oppressed us.” [Sifat al-Safwa, Vol. 1, Page 274]

Seventy-Six Thousand Virtues

It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Mas’ud (Radi Allahu Anhu) that the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated, ‘‘One who recites

Allah will record 4,000 virtues in his book of deeds for very letter, forgive 4,000 of his sins and raise his rank by 4,000 degrees.’’ [Firdaus al-Akhbar, Vol. 4. Page 26, Hadith 5573]

SubhanAllah! The immense mercy of Allah Almighty is beyond imagination! Therefore, by reciting بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم once, one will receive 76 thousand virtues, his 76 thousand sins will be forgiven, and his rank will be raised by 76 thousand degrees.

Ruling Upon The Rafidhi (Shia)

The undeniable, definite, consensual ruling upon the Rafidhi Tabarrai is thus:

They are generally infidels and apostates. The meat slaughtered by them is dead carrion and marrying them is not only Haram, but in fact purely adultery. Allah forbid – if the male is a Rafidhi and the female is a Muslim (Sunni), then it is [invoking] the wrath of Allah. If, however, the male is a Sunni and the female is from among these malevolent, then still, the nikah is void; it is purely adultery; the children will be children of adultery; and they will not acquire the inheritance of the father, even if they are Sunni, as according to the Shariah, a child of adultery has no father. The woman also does not deserve any portion of the inheritance nor dowry as, for the adulterator, there is no dowry. Rafidhis cannot attain a portion of the inheritance from their close relatives, even if it may be their father or son, or mother or daughter. Let alone a Sunni or a Muslim, even a kafir, in fact, even their own Rafidhi fellows – they have no part in the inheritance. It is major sin and Haram to mingle with their laymen and scholars, and to meet and greet them, or to converse with them.

He who, after being aware of these accursed beliefs, deems them to be Muslims or bears doubts in their disbelief, then according to the consensus of all scholars, is himself a kafir, apostate; and for such a person the same rulings as mentioned for them above apply. It is obligatory upon Muslims to listen to this edict assiduously and become truthful and upright Muslims by acting upon it. From Allah is the ability, and Allah, the Glorious and Almighty knows best.

Mfungo 3 - Kwa Wenye Kudhamira Kuchinja

Assalaamu alaikum,

Natumai hamjambo.

[Swali] Kutokunyoa Na Kukata Kucha Mpaka Uchinje

Assalaamu alaikum,

Protection from the Calamities

Earthquakes are one of the major calamities from which the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) guided us to seek refuge with Allah and He (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) taught us the following Dua to remain protected from the calamities.
12182462_10153127253905334_2273380425680750475_o.jpg (1128×428)

Recite this Dua yourselves and let your families recite it as well. Moreover, write Ya Zaahiru (ياظاھر) on the walls and main gates and entrances of your houses. This will keep you and your families and properties safe from the earthquakes and other calamities in sha Allah.

Excellence of the Fast of Aashura

» It is narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) that when Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) arrived in Madinah Munawwarah, the Jews were fasting on the day of Aashura, so he (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) asked, ‘Why have you fasted on this day?’ They replied, ‘This is a great day in which Allah saved Musa (Alayhis Salam) and his nation, and drowned Pharaoh and his people. Therefore, Musa (Alayhis Salam) fasted on this day as an expression of gratitude to Allah and so we too observe fast on this day.’ He (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said, ‘We deserve more than you to follow Musa (Alayhis Salam).’ So the Beloved and Blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) himself fasted and he ordered his Companions to do so as well. [Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 1, Page 656, Hadith 2004]

» The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated, "Observe Fast on the day of Aashura, and oppose the Jews in this by observing an additional Fast one day before or one day after it." [Musnad Imam Ahmad, Vol. 1, Page 518, Hadith 2154]

» It has been reported by Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (Radi Allahu Anhu) that the Most Exalted Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: "I expect from Allah that Fast on Aashura removes the sins of the previous year. [Sahih Muslim, Page 590, Hadith 1162]

» Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) has stated, "I never saw the Noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) so enthusiastic to observe Fast highlighting excellence to any day as much as he would for the day of Aashura and the month of Ramadan." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 1, Page 657, Hadith 2006]

Note: Whenever one is to observe the Fast of Aashura, it is better for him to fasts on either the 9th or 11th of Muharram in addition.

Virtues of the fasts of Muharram

The most beloved and blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) is reported to have said:

» The Fast of every day of Muharram is equivalent to the Fasts of one month. [Tabarani, Mu’jam al-Saghir, Vol. 2, Page 87,  Hadith 1580]

» After Ramadan, the Fast of Muharram is the most superior, and the most superior Salah after the Fard Salah is Salat al-Layl (i.e. Nawafil offered during the night). [Sahih Muslim, Page 591, Hadith 1163]

» Whoever fasted for three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, during the month of Muharram, the reward of two years’ worship will be recorded for him. [Tabarani, Mu'jam al-Awsat, Vol. 2, Page 219, Hadith 1789]

» Whoever fasts three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, during the holy months (i.e. Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram), the reward of 900 years’ worship will be recorded for him. [Ghazali, Ihya Uloom al-Deen, Vol. 1, Page 237]

» Whoever fasts three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, during the holy months (i.e. Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram), Allah will bless him with the reward of 700 years’ worship. [Bayhaqi, Fada'il al-Awqat, Vol. 1, Page 538, Hadith 289]

Amal for New Islamic Year (1st Muharram)

Shaykh Abul Abbas Ahmad bin Ali Buni (Alayhir Rahmah) writes in his book, Shams al-Ma'arif wa Lata'if al-'Awarif: "Whoever writes

130 times (or gets it written from someone) on 1st Muharram al-Haraam and keeps this with him (or put on it after plastic coating or sewing in some cloth, or leather), he and all of his family members will remain safe from every type of evil throughout their life." [Shams al-Ma'arif, Page 74]

Note: Write using permanent ink and it is not necessary to put diacritical marks. Furthermore, it is a principle of writing a Ta’weez that when writing a certain Ayah or a certain text, the circle of every circle-containing letters should remain open. Therefore, leave the circles of Haa (ه) and all the three Meem (م) open.

Virtues of Sayyiduna Umar ibn Al-Khattab (Radi Allahu Anhu) in the Heavens

Sayyiduna Ammar ibn Yasir (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

“O Ammar, Jibril came to me and I asked, “O Jibril narrate to me the virtues of Umar ibn Al-Khattab in the heavens.” He said, “O Muhammad, if I was to narrate the virtues of Umar from the time that Nuh remained with his people, nine hundred and fifty years, I would not exhaust the virtues of Umar.”

[Musnad Abi Ya'la, Vol. 4, Page 173, Hadith 1568]

Stop Shaving The Beard (English Translation)

..:: STOP SHAVING THE BEARD ::..

My brother, Stop shaving the beard
Have some shame of Allah Almighty, Stop shaving the beard

It’s seemingly just hair but it’s the light of Islam
Enlighten your face, Stop shaving the beard

This appearance displeases Allah Almighty and The most Beloved ﷺ
Seek their pleasure, Stop shaving the beard

The shaytaan is pleased after seeing this appearance
Enemy of yours is he, Stop shaving the beard

Has any Hindu ever cut off his ponytail, Tell me?
So why have you done this? Stop shaving the beard

Has anyone from the blessed family, The Blessed Companions or The Blessed Prophets done this?
So why are you distinct from them? Stop shaving the beard

It’s weird that women are also influenced by this
Also shaving their heads, Stop shaving the beard

You were born a man but now have become emasculate
Oh what a huge error you have made, Stop shaving the beard

The trimming or shaving of the beard is Haraam
Obey the order of The Most Beloved , Stop shaving the beard

Its compulsory for a brother to guide his brother
Therefore I say to you, Stop shaving the beard

May the plea of Jameel Qadiri be accepted O Allah!
May the Ummah of The Most Beloved , stop shaving the beard
