The Most Ignorant Situation

Sa'id ibn al-Jubayr {The Mercy of Allah be upon him} said:

“A person will never cease to be knowledgeable as long as he continues to study, however when he departs from seeking knowledge, and then thinks he is sufficed with what he has learned, then he is in the most ignorant situation he has ever been in”.

قال سعيد بن جبير رضي الله عنه : لا يزال الرجل عالما لما تعلم، فإذا ترك العلم وظن أنه قد استغنى واكتفى بما عنده فهو أجهل ما يكون
