Example of Stupidity of Wahabism

The Following is an example of the stupidity of wahibism and its challenge to Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ:

This is a true incident that took place in Masjid Al-Nabawi Al-Sahrif. A wahabi preacher was trying to emphasize to his listeners that Rasoolullah ﷺ is able to neither benefit nor harm people. He took out his pen and holding it in his hand he repeatedly said to somebody from the audience: "Come here and take hold of my pen", until the person came and took the pen from him. The Wahabi then concluded: "This person is alive and was therefore able to respond to my request and take hold of my pen. However a dead person is unable to do such a thing!". He then challenged Rasoolullah ﷺ directly by saying "O Muhammad! (ﷺ) Come and take this pen" and repeated this in a raised voice whilst gesturing his hand at the blessed Mausoleum of Rasoolullah ﷺ. He then said to the audience: "Didn't you see that this person who is alive was able to come and take this pen but the one who is dead has no such authority. It is therefore incumbent on you to refrain from asking from deceased because they have no authority to benefit or harm either themselves or others."

Upon hearing this a Sudanese man stood up from amongst the people and holding his pen he raised his arm and said "O Allah! Take hold of this pen." He repeatedly said this many times and then said "O Shaykh! Allah did not take this pen!" He then asked the so-called Shaykh "Doesn't Allah have the power to take hold of the pen? Will you now conclude that Allah has no authority to benefit or harm anyone?"

The one he did not believe was left speechless and red in the face. Everybody present laughed at this spectacle.
