Uttha Do Pardah Dikha Do Chehra + English Translation

Utha do pardah dikha do chehra, ke Noor e baari hijab mein hai
Zamaana taareek ho raha hai, ke mehr kab se niqaab mein hai

Lift up thy veil and reveal your Blessed face, for the Divine Light is
covered
The world is darkening, for the Sun has been veiled for so long.

Nahin woh meethi nigaah-wala, Khuda ki rahmat hai jalwah-farmaa

He is not just the sweet sighted one, but the Mercy of Allah present,
May Allah save us from his anger, the Manifestation of Allah's majesty.

Jalee jalee boo se uski paida hai sozish e ishq e chashm waala
Kebab e Aahoo mein bhi na paaya, mazza jo dil kay kebab mein hai

The smell of burning created by the warmth of the love of the Beloved,
Not even venison gives as much pleasure, as a heart scorched by his
love.

Unhein ki boo maaya e saman hay, unhein ka jalwah chaman chaman he
Unhein se gulshan mehak rahain hain, unhein ki rangat gulab main he.

It is due to his fragrance that jasmine pleases, his presence permeates
the fragrant gardens,
It is due to him the gardens and flowers smell, Roses blessed with
colour.

Teri jalw mein hai maah e Taybah, hilal har marg o zindagi ka
Hayaat jaan ka rikaab mein hai, mamaat a'adaa ka Daab mein hai

In your hand O. shining Moon of Madinah, is the crescent of life and
death!
The Soul in the stirrup, the death of the enemy in your reins

Siyaah libasan e dar dunya o sabz poshaan e arsh e aala
Har ik hai unkay karam ka pyaasa, yeh faiz un ki janaab mein hai

The people of this world dressed in black and the green robed ones of
the heavens,
Every one thirsty for his grace, this blessing is for him alone

Woh Gul hain labhaaye naazuk in kay, hazaaron jhartey hain phool jin
say
Gulaab gulshan mein dekhay bulbul, yeh dekh gulshun gulaab mein hai

His delicate lips are roses, from which fall thousands of flowers,
The nightingale has seen thousands of roses in the rose-gardens,
Look here, thousands of rose gardens in a rose.

Jali hai sooz-e-jigar say jaan tak, hai taalib e jalwa-e-mubarak
Dikhaa do woh lab keh aab e haiwaan ka lutf jin kay khitaab mein hai

By the burning of my heart, my body has also burnt, I seek thy blessed
vision
Show me those lips, in whose speech, lies the Water of Life.

Kharray hain Munkar-Nakeer sar par, na koi haami na koi yaawar
Bataa do aa kar mere Payambar keh sakht muskhkil jawaab mein hai

Munkar and Nakeer stand at my side, At this moment no helper, no
protecter,
Come and tell , O. my Prophet, for there is great difficulty in the answers

Khudaaye Qahhaar hai ghazab par, khulay hain badkaariyon kay daftar
Bachaa lo aa kar, Shafi e Mahshar, tumhara banda azaab mein hai

In the Presence of The Almighty, my register of deeds is open,
Come and save me, O. Intercessor of Judgment Day, your slave is in
trouble.

Kareem aisa mila ke jis kay, khulay hain haath aur bharay khazanay
Batao aay mufliso Ke phir kyoon tumhaara dil iztiraab mein hai?

We have such a Merciful Master, whose hands are most generous in
giving, chests full with treasure to give.
Tell me, O needy ones! Why are your hearts so troubled?

Gunaah ki taariikiyaan yeh chaeen, umand kay kaalii ghataain aayein
Khuda kay Khursheed mehr farmaa ke zarra bas iztiraab mein hai

The darkness of sin surrounds, black clouds have also gathered
O. shining sun of The Almighty, bless me, this servant of yours is in
difficulty.

Tu aur Raza say hisaab lena, Raza bhi koii hisaab mein hai?

O. Most Gracious, for the sake of Thy Grace, do not make this
worthless slave ashamed
You and take the account of Raza?, Is Raza worthy of any account?

These blessings and bounties, your flourishing favours, the creation lives on by uttering your name,

The creation takes your charity, and all these honours are granted for you.

You sent the clouds of mercy for the world to drink,

You soothed our wounded hearts, and covered our sins for us.

Atāye arab, jalāye karab fuyūz ájab baghayr ţalab

Ye Raĥmat e Rabb hai kis ke sabab, bi Rabb e jahāan tumhāre liye:

Billions of blessings, eliminating our pains, all these bounties without even asking,

All this mercy from the Lord is for whose sake? For you, my master, by the Lord of all the worlds.

Not only jinn and mankind, but Angels too at all times stand in your service,

It is not foreheads and heads that prostrate; but hearts that fall for you.

Sazāye miĥan pe ayse minan ye amn o amāan tumhāre liye:

Gardens in paradise, in those gardens are orchards, these orchards adorned with beautiful brides,

Our deeds not deserving but yet still rewarded, calmness and peace is granted because of you.

Khaleel o Najee Maseeĥ o şafee sabhī se kahī kahīn bhi banee ?

Ye be khabari ke khalq phiree kahāan se kahāan tumhāre liye:

Ibrāhīm, Nūĥ; Eesā and Ādam, we went to all of them for help but any avail ?

The entire creation went from where to where searching? For you, my Master, For you.

A mere gesture of yours split the moon, you brought back the set sun,

You restored the day back to evening, these lights and illumination are all for you.

Sabāa wo chale ke baāgh phale wo phool khilay ke din hon bhale

Liwāa ke tale thanā mein khulay Razā ki zabāan tumhāre liye:

May such a breeze blow which cause the gardens to blossom, the flowers to bloom and make our days fragrant,

Under your banner, on the day of judgement, May the mouth of Raza only open in praise for you.
