Maslak e Aala Hazrat Ikhtilaaf From Aala Hazrat

"The ikhtilaf of those who breach the Ijma’ (consensus) of Muslims is thrown back in their faces. Nothing of Maslak e A’la Hazrat shall be ruined and nothing of A’la Hazrat shall be ruined. He who breaches it will himself be determined to be against Maslak e A’la Hazrat. And there are some people who have to fulfil their whims and act upon leniency. A’la Hazrat has maintained the identity of true Hanafiyyah. The ‘Ulama’ have settled the issue that you are performing Taqleed of Imam e A’zam. The method of Taqleed is that [you] bow your head [and follow blindly]. We are not on the station that was the station of Imam e A’zam. He was a Mujtahid. Leave Imam e A’zam, we are not of the rank of Imam Muhammad and Imam Abu Yusuf who were Mujtahids fi al-Madhhab. And even below them, going far down from them, we are not even on the station that [we know] which qawl (statement) is sahih (correct), which is da’eef (weak), which is rajih (preferred), which is marjooh (preferred over). We do not have the capacity to determine this. 500 years ago, Imam ‘Ala’ al-Din Haskafi settled the matter that:

أما نحن فعلينا اتباع ما صححوه وما رجحوه كما لو افتونا في حياتهم

Such unprincipled people who do not have the capacity to distinguish between sahih and da’eef - who are merely Muqallids - it is binding upon them to act upon those aqwal that have been declared sahih by their Masha’ikh; let alone issuing Fatawa against it, to act against that oneself is not permissible.

Those who speak of ikhtilaf are such that they are doing ikhtilaf for the whims of their nafs. And I have shown that this ikhtilaf is not with A’la Hazrat but it is ikhtilaf with Sunniyyah in some cases; with Ijma’ of the Ummah in some cases; and it is simply following one’s whims in some cases."

Sayyidul Istighfar: The Best Dua For Allah Almighty's Forgiveness

"If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning he will be from the people of Paradise."

Sahih Al-Bukhari,

Oh Allah, you are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. You created me and I am Your servant and I will keep my covenant and promise to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I admit before You, Your blessings upon me and I admit to You all my sins. So forgive me. Certainly none can forgive sins except You.”

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ

Ghawth Paak Radi Allāhu 'Anhu on Bad-Mazhabs

Huzur Ghawth Paak Radi Allahu Anhu on Bad-Mazhabs

Huzur pur Nur Sultan e Baghdad Sayyiduna Ghawth e Azam Peeran e Peer Dastgeer Radi Allahu Anhu says:

من نظر الى صاحب بدعة بغضا له فى الله ملأ الله قلبه امنا  و ايمانا ومن

انتهر صاحب بدعة رفعه الله  فى الجنة مائة درجة ومن لقيه بالبشرى او بما

Whosoever looks upon a bad-mazhab with hatred for the sake of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will fill his heart with tranquility  and Imaan.

Whosoever harshly reprimands a bad-mazhab for the sake of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will raise his status in Jannah by a hundred levels.

Whosoever meets with a bad-mazhab with happiness, then indeed he has belittled, that which has been revealed by Allah Almighty upon The Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.

The Heart Is Like A Magnet

The heart is like a magnet, a magnet has a magnetic pull that attracts metal, in the same way the heart attracts the evil of shaitaan.

The magnetic field from a magnet can be destroyed by hitting it with a hammer several times , the heart can also be demagnetized and cleansed of these desires by striking the heart with The Dhikr of Allah Almighty.

The Prophets (Alayhim as-Salaam) are Alive

The Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'ah holds an obstinate belief that the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and all the blessed Prophets (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayhim as-Salat wa as-Salam) are alive and it is firmly established through the authentic and explicit proofs. The life of Prophets (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayhim as-Salat wa as-Salam) is spiritual, physical and worldly. They are as alive as they were alive in the world.

The Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of the Ummah, the Owner of Jannah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated:

إن الله حرم على الأرض أن تأكل أجساد الأنبياء فنبي الله حي يرزق

"The soil has been prohibited by Allah from consuming the bodies of the Prophets. The Prophets of Allah remain alive (after their apparent demise) and they are provided with Rizq (sustenance)".

Method of Salaat al-Asraar

An effective Salah for the acceptance of Duas and fulfillment of needs is Salat al-Asrar. This has been mentioned by Imam Abul Hasan Nooruddin Ali bin Jarir Lakhmi Shatnufi in Bahjat al-Asrar and which has been narrated from Ghaus al-Azam, by Shaykh Mulla Ali Qari and Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehlawi (Alayhim ar-Rahmah).

The method of this is to perform 2 Rakat of Nafil Salah after Salat al-Maghrib and after praying the Sunnah. It is better to recite Surah Ikhlas 11 times in each Rakat after Surah al-Fatiha. After the Salam praise and glorify Allah, then recite Salawat and Salam on the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) 11 times, and then recite the following 11 times:

يارسول الله يانبي الله اغثني وامددني في قضاء حاجتي یا قاضي الحاجات
Ya Rasool Allahi Ya Nabi Allahi Aghisni Wamdudni Fee Qadaa'i Haajati Ya Qaadiyal Hajaat

Then take 11 steps towards Iraq and recite the following at each step:

ياغوث الثقلين ياكريم الطرفين اغثني وامددني في قضاء حاجتي یا قاضي الحاجات
Ya Ghous as-Saqalayn Ya Kareem at-Tarafayn Aghisni Wamdudni Fee Qadaa'i Haajati Ya Qaadiyal Hajaat

Then ask Dua to Allah for the fulfillment of the need presenting mediation of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam).

Ancestral Tree Of Imām A'zam Abu Hanifa Radi Allāhu 'Anhu

Question.

What is The true ancestral tree of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa Radi Allahu Anhu.

Answer.

Sayyiduna Imam A'zam Radi Allahu Anhu is from the Royal Sultani family of kiyaan, but his status is much greater and exalted than any kind of Royal status.

His exalted status is not due to being a descendant of worldly kings.

His greatness is such that he is the father of thousands of kings of the Deen.

Sayyiduna Imam Shaf'ii Alai Hirrahmah  says:

الفقهاء كلهم على عيال ابى حنيفة

All of The Mujtahideen are like the offspring of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa Radi Allahu Anhu.

And Allah Almighty knows best.

Naats are pure and should be presented purely, The recitor must imagine himself in The Blessed Court of The Most Beloved Sall Allah Hu Alaihi Wa Sallam, and with complete adab should transport the body and soul of the listener to The Blessed court of The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam also.
The listener should be taken to The Blessed court not towards a song.

The Beard And it's Length

Allah's Name (we) begin with, The Compassionate Most Merciful.

Assalaam u Alaikum
I have been asked to write a few words on the beard and its length.

Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhuma) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Trim (your) moustaches and lengthen/grow (your) beards.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Cut off moustaches, leave beards and do otherwise than the fire worshippers.” (Sahih Muslim, no. 260)

Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (Radi Allahu Anhuma ) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Trim moustaches, lengthen/leave beards and do not imitate the Jews.” (Tahawi, Sharh Ma’ani al-Athar, 4/230)

Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhuma) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) ordered the trimming/clipping of moustaches and the leaving of the beards.” (Sahih Muslim, )

In the above Hadiths, the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) categorically commanded the keeping of the beard.

In the above narrations, the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) explicitly commanded the growing of the beard. According to the scholars of the “science of juristic principles” (usul al-Fiqh), the explicit command (amr) of the Qur’an and Sunnah signifies the obligatory nature of an act (al-Amr li al-Wujub) unless otherwise proven.

The Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) constant practice was also that of keeping a beard:

Abu Ma’mar relates that we asked Khabbab (Radi Allahu Anhu) whether the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to recite the Qur’an in the Zuhr and the Asr prayers. He replied in the affirmative. We said, “How did you come to know of this?” He replied, “From the movement of his beard.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sunan Abu Dawud,

Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (Radi Allahu Anhuma) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) performed ablution (wudhu), he would take a handful of water and put it under his jaws and pass it through his beard. He said, “This is what my Lord ordered me to do.” Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan al-Bayhaqi

Sayyiduna Jabir ibn Abd Allah (Radi Allahu Anhuma) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) had a thick beard….” Sahih Muslim,

The four Sunni schools of Islamic law (madhhabs) also quite clearly mention the impermissibility of shaving the beard:

The Hanafi School

The great Hanafi jurist, Imam al-Haskafi (Radi Allahu Anhu) states in his Durr al-Mukhtar:

“It is unlawful for one to trim his beard,And as for shortening it when it is less than a fistful, as some North Africans and effeminate men do, this is something no one (i.e. of the Hanafi scholars) has said is permitted.”Radd al-Muhtar ala al-Durr al-Mukhtar,

The Maliki School
Imam al-Dasuqi (Radi Allahu Anhu) states:
“It is unlawful (haram) for a man to shave his beard, and the perpetrator will be disciplined.”

The Shafi’i school
“The two shaykhs of the school (i.e. Nawawi & Rafi’i) state that it is Makruh (disliked) to shave the beard, but Ibn al-Rif’a objected to this stating that Imam Shafi’i (Allah have mercy on him) himself categorically mentioned in his book “al-Umm” that shaving the beard is unlawful (haram).

The Hanbali School
Imam al-Bahuti al misri states:
“(From the acts of nature (fitrah) is to lengthen the beard in a way that it should not be trimmed at all. It is stated in the school that, this is as long as it does not become abnormally long in a way that it causes abhorrence. And it is unlawful (haram) to shave it off.” (Kashaf al-Qina’, .

The above statements of the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) and the statements of the jurist (fuqaha) go a long way in proving that to shave the beard is unlawful (haram). A Muslim can never look with favour towards the act of shaving the beard.

Length of the beard

As far as the length of the beard is concerned, there is no doubt in the fact that the practice of the Mercy of both worlds, the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) and his Companions (Radi Allahu Anhum Ajmaeen ) was that of keeping and growing the beard to at least a fistful.

The Hadith quoted above from Sahih al-Bukhari, wherein Khabbab (Radi Allahu Anhu) said that, they (sahaba) came to know of the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) reciting in his prayers due to the movement of his beard, is a clear proof of this. One can imagine the length of the Messenger of Allah’s beard if the Companions could see it moving from standing behind him in prayers.

Similarly, there are other narrations that clearly state that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) had a very thick and copious beard.

Imam al-Bukhari relates in his “Sahih” from Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhum) that the Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Do otherwise than those who ascribe partners to Allah (al-mushrikin): leave beards, and trim moustaches.” And Ibn Umar, when he went on Hajj or Umrah would grasp his beard with his hand, and removed what was in excess of it.” Sahih al-Bukhari,

Other Companions such as Abu Hurayra and Umar ibn al-Khattab (Radi Allahu Anhum Ajmaeen) are also reported to have trimmed their beards to a fistful, thus the practice of the Sahaba, who understood the Sunnah more than anyone else, is a clear proof on the permissibility of trimming the beard to a fistful.

AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (Radi Allahu Anhu) has quoted a saying of Sayyiduna Ka'ab Ahbar (Radi Allahu Anhu) in his booklet Lum'at al-Duha:

“Near to the end of the world, there would be some people who would trim their beards. They are extremely unfortunate. That is, they will have no blessing in religion and in the Hereafter”. [Ihya al-Uloom, Vol. 1, | Fatawa Radawiyyah, Vol. 22, Page 651]

To grow the beard is the Sunnah of the prophets. To shave it all or less than a fist is Haraam.” [Bahar-e-Shari'at, Vol. 16, Page 585]

According to the unanimous opinion, to shave the beard less than a fist as is the way of some westerners and effeminate persons who are fond of make-up like women, is not permissible. As regards shaving whole of the beard, then this is the way of the Jews of India and the fire-worshippers of Iran.” [Hashiyat al-Tahtawi Ala Maraqi al-Falah, Page 411]

Those who claim that a beard can be trimmed under a fist length, have they ever read the beautiful shamaail of the Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam I ask ?.

If so who are they trying to emulate and imitate.
May Allah Almighty give us the Towfeeq to act on the Shariah and Follow the Blessed Sunnah of the Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam.
May Allah Almighty keep us steadfast on Maslake Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat Radi Allahu Anhu .

Qawaali With Musical Instruments and The Conditions of Samaa

Alahadrat Azeemul Barakat Radi Allahu Anhu on Qawaali with musical instruments and the conditions of Samaa'

Allah's Name we begin with, The Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Question:

What do The Respected Ulema e Deen say in regard to this, that a friend of mine said to me after the Salāh, ‘Come, let’s go to an Urs.’ I went with him, and when we reached there I saw that a large number of people were gathered and Qawwāli was taking place in such a way that one drum and two harps were being played, and some Qawwāl were singing poetry in praise of Pīrān e Pīr Dastagīr (Shaykh `Abdul Qādir al-Jīlāni رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ), as well as some poetry in praise of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم followed by couplets regarding the status of the Awliyā Allāh.

Such instruments (the drums and harps that were being used) are Ḣarām Qat'ī (explicitly forbidden) in the Shari'ah !

Would the Beloved Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and the Awliyā Allāh be pleased with such acts?

Are those present at this gathering sinful or not? Is such Qawwāli permissible or not?

If it  is permissible, then what kind of Qawwāli is permissible ?

Al-Jawāb (Answer):

Such Qawwāli is Ḣarām. All those present in the gathering are sinful, and all of their sin is upon those who arranged such an Urs and upon the Qawwāli singers.

Furthermore, the sin of the Qawwāli singers is also upon the organiser of such an `Urs, without the sin of the Qawwāli singers being lessened in any way, due to their sin also being upon the organiser of the `Urs, and without the sin of those present in the gathering being lessened in any way due to the devastation of their sin also being upon the Qawwāli singers and the organiser.

No! On the contrary, every single person present in the gathering has his own personal complete sin, and the Qawwāli singers have their own sin separately, as well as the sin according to all of those present in the gathering upon them in addition to this separately; and the organiser of the `Urs has his own sin separately, the sin equivalent to the sin of the Qawwāli singers in addition to this separately, as well as the sin of all those present in the gathering separately.

The reason for this is that the people present in the gathering were invited by the organiser of the Urs and were only provided with the means to commit this sin through him, and the Qawwāli singers played the music for them to listen to.

If he did not provide the means, and the drums and harps were not played, then how would those present at the gathering have fallen into this sin? It is for this reason that all of their sin is upon them both, and then the cause of this sin of the Qawwāli singers was that organiser of the Urs. If he did not organise it and if he did not invite them, how would they have come and played the music? Therefore, the sin of the Qawwāli singers is also upon the one who invited them;

As the Fuqahā e Kiraam have said about the one who, despite being strong and healthy, takes charity, that he himself, and the one giving to him, are both sinful. This is because if those who give to him did not give, then he would not take up this shameful business of begging. So their giving is the cause of his begging and all of this is apparent to those familiar with the laws of Shari`ah; and towfeeq lies with Allāh Almighty only.

(Raddul Mukhtar, kitaab al khatar, vol 5 page 273 )

The Beloved Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Whoever invites towards any act of guidance will receive the reward equivalent to all those who follow him, and there will be no reduction in any of their reward, and whoever invites towards any act of misguidance will receive the sin of all those who follow his invitation, and there will be no reduction in any of their sin.”

(Narrated by Imām Aĥmad and Imām Muslim from Sayyidunā Abū Hurayra رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ Sahih Muslim kitab al ilm vol 2 page 341, Musnad Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah vol 2 page 397)

The mas'ala e Nass will be taken from the Shariah of The Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam, or from The Imam e Mujhtahid of Fiqh. If the nass from the Shariah is required,Numerous Aĥadīth have been narrated regarding the prohibition of instruments reaching hadde tawaatur.

It is narrated in Saĥīĥ Bukhāri Sharif that the Beloved Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “ Indeed there will be those people in my Ummah who will deem Ḣalāl the private parts of women (adultery), silk clothing, alcohol, and musical instruments.”

Some ignorant folk, or half-baked Mullāhs, or fake Sūfis present weak tales, unreliable incidents, or dubious anecdotes against authentic, definite Aĥadīth which have chains back to the Beloved Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

These people do not have the least amount of intelligence, or they purposefully act ignorant, because it is clear that it is necessary to reject the weak in favour of the authentic, the doubtful for the decisive, and the dubious for the definite. Furthermore, how can the Qowl  be compared with the Fel mentioned in some anecdote, but who has the cure for such submission to desires?

If only they would know the sin as a sin after committing it and state it as such, but this stubbornness is even more severe that they feed their desires and then refuse the guilt, and make Ḣalāl (permissible) for themselves that which is Ḣarām (forbidden). Besides this, they do not stop here, but they, Allāh Almighty forbid, slander the beloved ones of Allāh Almighty, the great elders of the Silsilah Āliyah Chishtiya قدست اسرار هم by falsely attributing this act to them.

They neither have fear of Allāh Almighty, nor shame in front of the people. Even though Maĥbūb e Ilāhi Sayyidi wa Mawlāi Nizam ul Haq wal Dīn Sulṫān ul Awliyāرَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ و عنهم و عنا بهم himself says in “Fawāid ul Fawād Sharīf”;

مزامير حرام است ‘Musical instruments are Ḣarām.’

Mawlānā Fakhr ul Dīn Zarāwi, Khalīfah of Sayyidunā Maĥbūb e Ilāhi رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهما wrote an epistle on the Mas`alatu Samā` entitled, “Kashful Qanā an Usūl il Samā`” in the blessed era of the great Shaykh due to the decisive order of the Shaykh himself.

It is clearly written in that epistle:

“ The Samā of our blessed Mashāikh رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهم is free from the allegation of using musical instruments. There would only be the voice of the Qawwāl with the verses of poetry that would signify the perfection of the majesty of Allāh Almighty.”

Have justice for the sake of Allāh! Will you accept the words of this great Imam of the blessed Chishti order, or the unfounded slander and evidently corrupt accusations of the claimants of today? ( whose mischief is clearly evident )

(لا حول و لا قوة الا بالله العلى العظيم)

Sayyidī Mawlānā Muĥammad bin Mubārak bin Muĥammad `Alawī Kirmāni, murīd of Shaykh ul `Ālam Farīd ul Haq wal Dīn Ganj Shakkar, and Khalīfah of Sayyidunā Maĥbūb e Ilāhi رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهم , writes in his book Mustaṫāb Siyar ul Awliyā:

“Sulṫān ul Mashāikh قدس الله تعالى سره العزيز would say that only under some conditions is Samā` permissible; from which some are conditions for those reciting, some for those listening, some for the poetry which is recited, and some for the items used in the Samā`. The one reciting should be an adult male not a small boy or a woman. The one listening must not be heedless of Allāh Almighty and the poetry being recited must not contain any indecency or mockery. The items used in Samā must not be anything similar to musical instruments. The items used in Samā` must not include musical instruments such as harps, lutes, flutes or any other instruments. When all of these conditions are fulfilled, that type of Samā` is Ḣalāl.”

Muslims! This is the Fatwa (ruling) of the leader and the master of Silsilah Āliyah Chistiyah Sulṫān ul Awliyā رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ. After this conclusive ruling is there any way for the slanderers to show their face?

In addition, it is written in Siyar ul Awliyā Sharīf:

“Once a man presented a matter in the court of Sulṫān ul Mashāikh that these days some mystics reportedly belonging to an Āstāna performed Raqs (Sufi dancing) in gathering where harps and lutes were being played. He answered by saying that they did not do a good thing and that they did something which is impermissible and disliked in the Shari`ah. After this someone said that when these people left that place people said to them, ‘What have you done? There were musical instruments there! How did you listen to the Samā` and perform Raqs there? ’ They replied by saying, ‘We were so ecstatically absorbed in the Samā` that we were unaware whether there were any musical instruments there or not.’ Sulṫān ul Mashāikh then said, ‘This answer is nothing; similar words could then be said for all sins…’”

O. Muslims! How clear a statement this is that musical instruments are Ḣarām, and what an irrefutable reply the Shaykh granted us to the excuse that we were unaware of the musical instruments due to being engrossed and absorbed in the Samā, that such an excuse could be made for any sin. Someone could drink alcohol and then say that because of intense absorption and captivation I was unaware whether it was alcohol or water.

Or someone could commit adultery and then say that because of being in the state of  ecstasy I was unable to differentiate whether she was my wife or someone else.

It is written in the same book:

“Sulṫān ul Mashāikh has said that I have forbidden musical instruments and other prohibited things from amongst them, and he stressed this point strongly. This is to the extent that it has been said that if an Imam makes a mistake in the Salah, a man should say SubḢānAllāh to inform the Imam, but a woman should not say SubḢānAllāh because she should not make her voice heard. She should not even clap her hands by striking one palm upon the other as this would be like recreation or play, but she should merely strike the back of one hand with the palm of the other. When it has come to us that items associated with recreation and play, and those which are similar to them, should be refrained from to this extent, then the use of musical instruments in Samā` is forbidden to an even greater degree.”

O. Muslims! Those Imāms of Tarīqah whose caution and carefulness is such that they tell of the prohibition of clapping in such instances, how can they معاذ الله be linked to this slanderous claim of using musical instruments?

Have justice for the sake of Allāh Almighty! What an unfounded and insane rambling it is (to claim that the Mashāikh of Chisht used musical instruments)! May Allāh Almighty save us from following the Shayṫān and may He grant us the ability to truly follow the true beloved ones of Allāh Almighty.

آمين اله الحق آمين – بجاهم عندك آمين – والحمد لـِلّٰـه رب العالمين

The discourse is getting lengthy here and this is sufficient for those who are just. والله الهادى والله تعاى اعلم

DHIKR-E-RAZA

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Bismillah al Rahman al Raheem

“If I was to thank Allah Almighty continuously for this blessing, till the day of reckoning, it would still not be enough”.
Huzur Mufti Mahmood Jaan Alayhirrahmah

This faqeer cannot thank Allah Almighty enough for the rewards, blessings and favours he has bestowed upon me, from amongst these there is one such blessing and favour that if I was to spend my whole life thanking Almighty Allah, it would not do justice.

Allah Almighty has made me from the Ummah of The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi wasallam and from the Ahlus Sunnah, and beyond this rewarded me, with what the tongue is unable to explain, and that is the blessing of being a servant of such a Murshid who is unique and alone in his Uloome Zaahiriyya and Uloome Baatiniyyah.

The Imam e ahle Sunnat, Zubtadul Asfiyaa, Umdatul Awliya, Muhyi al Shariah wa Tareeqah, The Reviver of Islām, Grandmaster of Tafsīr, Hadīth and Fiqh, vanquisher of innovators and enemies of Religion, foremost defender of Faith and the Imām of Sunnis, Alahadrat Mowlana wa Sayyiduna Maulawi, Mufti Shah Ahmad Rida Khan Radi Allahu Ta'alaa Anhu.

The background to me becoming blessed with this treasure is as follows:

For an age, the thought would trouble my heart, that until I find the perfect murshid, perfect in all aspects of Shariah and Tareeqah, I would not give my hand to anyone in allegiance.

There was a monthly magazine which used to be printed in Patna Azeem Abad, which was distributed by Molana Maulawi Abul Masakeen Muhammad Zia al Deen Sahib Peelibheeti, I stumbled across a copy and due to it being a true representation of our Maslak with interesting topics, I started to read with great satisfaction from cover to cover, I would wait eagerly for the next copy so that it would provide spiritual nourishment.

After reading glimpses of knowledge from the great Imam I became sure in my heart that to find a Murshid of this calibre in this time is impossible.

I became eager to see this ocean of knowledge, I travelled a great distance to Bareilly Shareef and presented myself in the blessed court.

My first glance fell upon the blessed face, my heart experienced bliss, my heart began to beat faster, it felt as though it would burst out of my chest with happiness, a lifetime of wishes had come true in an instant.

That same day, the mountain of spirituality glanced his blessed gaze upon me, and accepted me as a servant and let me drink from the ocean of spirituality, and bestowed the crown of khilafat in the Salaasil of Qaadiriyyah, Chishtiyah Suharwardiyyah and Naqshbandiyah upon my head.

Huzur Alahadrat's generosity and rewards were such that words cannot do justice.

Upon leaving, he extended his blessing by giving me the blessed clothes he was wearing, the blessed Imaama Shareef, kurta, Angharka and Paijaama which were all, without doubt filled with blessings.

Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat gave me khilafat in four Salaasil, therefore blessed me with four pieces of clothing.

On the khilafat naama the words my Master which have been used in reference to this Faqeer, are such that if I was to be thankful all my life it would not be enough, Alhamdu lillah .

KHILAFAT NAAMA

The khilafat naama has just the signature of Alahadrat, the stamp had gone missing in those days.

In Qaseedah al Istimdaad Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat listed his khulafaa, but for some reason my name was left out.

About nine or ten months before Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat passed away I received a letter explaining that my name had been mistakenly left out, I say that this unintentional mistake was a blessing in disguise, because this letter of appreciation which I received, its each letter is worth more than many worldly treasures to me.

COPY OF LETTER

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم نحمده و نصلي على رسوله الكريم

For the attention of Molana, vanquisher of Fitnah and enemies of Religion, Foremost defender of Faith Molana Mahmood Jaan Saahib.

Assalaam u Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu. Saith Sulaiman Uthman Sahib came to visit me but, at a time when I was extremely ill, I could not be hospitable enough.
My eye has been extremely painful for about four and a half months and this has prevented me from reading or writing anything, I listen to questions and dictate the replies.

From the night of the twelfth my illness got extremely worse, to an extent I have never experienced before, I even got my will written but, Alhamdu lillah Allah Almighty granted me shifaa from this but I have become extremely weak, due to that episode .

My body aches such that upon even travelling the distance to the Masjid the pain is unbearable. I am in need of your kind prayers, I pray for you and your family.

Brother Sulaiman requested me for a taweez but nowadays I still am not writing anything so I thought the best I can do is to give him a special taweez for you which I had prepared for myself which has 784 columns, if I live and Allah Almighty wills I will write another for myself.

The speciality of this taweez is blessing in wealth and as a means of blessing from Almighty Allah, it takes one full day to write this taweez. I have given brother Sulaiman such a thing, that it is the only thing I have ever prepared for myself in my whole life, and not given it anyone but you. Brother Molawee Ghulam Mustafa Sahib is well.
Please let me know of your well being, we normally meet annually but due to my illness and hectic schedule I forgot to add your name in the end of Qasidah al Istimdaad where I named my khulafaa.

Your name is worthy of being written in gold, after printing I realised my forgetfulness and due to this, I regret this even now. Please let me know of your well-being give my salaam to all .
As Salaam u alaikum.

Finally I would like to conclude with a karamat of Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat and that is at that time in my old age, only girls would be born year upon year, my heart would wish that a boy would be born.

After the passing away of Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat I went to the chelum, upon leaving I went to his blessed court and grave and prayed to Allah Almighty that, for the sake of this blessed servant of yours bless me with a boy, to my astonishment a boy was born that very year and I named him Ahmed Raza .

It is true that the true servants of Allah Almighty even after passing away spread their Fuyoozo Barakaat, actually even more than whilst they are alive .

Badmazhabs - By Imām JalaaludDeen Rumi 'Alaihi Rahma

دشمن راہ خدارا  خوار دار

دزد را منبر منہ بردار دار

Believe the badmazhab to be a disgraced and despicable person,

Do not give the Thief of the Deen a place on the pulpit,

But rather his place is on the end of a noose.

دور شو از اخلاط  یار بد

یار بد بدتر بود از مار بد

Run far from the presence of the badmazhab, do not sit with him or associate with him,

The badmazhab as a friend and his company is worse than the company of a venomous snake.

مار بتنھا ہمیں برجاں زند

یار بدبر دین و بر ایماں زند

If you are bitten by the venomous snake you will lose your life, But save your Imaan.

The Imaan due to which there is everlasting safety.

But if you are affected by the venom from the company of a badmazhab friend, Then you will lose your Deen and your Imaan, destroying your this world and the hereafter.

رو اشداء على الكفار باش

خاك بر دلدارى اغيار پاش

O. Muslims, stay firm on that way, about which Allah Almighty states regarding The blessed companions of The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.

That they are extremely hard upon the disbelievers.

If the bad-madhab, bad-Deen, laa-Madhab, be-Deen people try and sweet talk you, or shower their favours upon you, then throw dust upon any such favours or sweet talking.

ہیں مکن رد باہ بازی شیر باش

برسر اعداے دین شمشیر باش

O. Muslims, listen carefully !

In matters of Deen do not be cunning and sly like the fox,

Be like a Lion and become a double edged sword upon the heads of the enemies of the Deen.

حب لله بغض لله كن شعار

تابيابى بر در دلدار بار

O. Muslims, Make it your purpose in life to Keep friendship with The Friends of Allah Almighty and keep as an enemy all those who are the enemies of Allah Almighty, make this a sign of yours.

A sign that people will recognise you by.

When you do this then, and only then, will you find yourself blessed with the acceptance in the court of The Rabb al Aalameen ( Allah Almighty) and The Rahmah al Aalameen.( The Most Beloved )

Not Even Half A Word

NOT EVEN HALF A WORD !

Salaam ibn abi Mutee' narrates in Musnad Daarmi Shareef:

A bad-madhab once said to Sayyiduna Ayub Sakhtiyaani

"O. Abu Bakr I want to ask regarding one word"

The Imam immediately turned away from him and gestured with his finger, whilst walking away from,

" Not even a half a word " he shouted.

Saeed gestured with his finger from his right hand to show us.

Reading Al Fatiha & Eesaal e Sawaab

Allah's Name (we) begin with, The Compassionate Most Merciful.

Assalaam u Alaikum
I have been asked to write a few words in reply to a so called scholar who claims The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam never endorsed or participated in Reading Al Fatihah, issaale thawaab or even reciting Durood Shareef (Allah Almighty save us from such ignoramus beliefs) .

What he should also learn is some adab, in regards to calling the companions Radi Allahu Anhum by their first names only, And Ummul momineen Sayyidah Ayesha Radi
Allahu Anha by her first name only.

Maybe he calls his mother and father by their first names and this is what he has been taught.
I hope you read the following, do towba, and come to the path of Ahlussunah.

Performing Fatiha on food is proven from the Sunna of the Most Beloved Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam.
The great scholar Sayyiduns Mulla Ali Qari writes:
‘It was on the third day after the passing of sayyiduna Ibrahim, Beloved son of the Messenger of Allah, Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam when Sayyiduna Abu Zarr Radi Allahu Anhu came to the Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam with dry dates, milk and some wheat bread. He placed it in front of the Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam. He recited Surah Fatiha and Surah Ikhlas thrice and then raised his hands in Dua and wiped his face. The Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam then ordered Abu Zarr to divide the food amongst the people.’

Sayyidah Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddeeqah Radi Allahu Anha reports that when the Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam fell ill, he would recite Surah Falaq and Surah Naas, and then blow upon himself using his hands (Sahih Bukhari,)
He would also blow upon himself before going to sleep, after reciting Surah Ikhlas, Surah Naas and Surah Falaq.

The Holy Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam gave out charity on behalf of Sayyiduna Ameer Hamza رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہon the 3rd, 7th and 40th day, as well as on the 6lh and 12th month subsequent to his demise.

At the time of completing the Holy Quran (Khatmul-Quran), Hadrat Anas رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہused to gather his family members and make dua. Hakeem ibn Utba Radi Allahu Anhu states that Mujaahid and his slave, Ibn Abi Luhaaha, gathered people together and said, “We have called you because we are completing the Holy Quran today and dua is accepted at the time of Khatmul-Quran.” It has been authentically narrated from Hadrat Mujaahid رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ that the Pious elders used to call gatherings of people at the time of Khatmul-Quran and say, “Mercy descends at this time.”

Thus, the gatherings of Teeja (3rd Day) and Chaliswaa (40th) is the practice of the pious predecessors it is stated in Durre-Mukhtaar. “If a person recites Surah Ikhlaas 11 times and conveys its reward to the deceased, all of the deceased equally receive the thawaab

Under the above extract. Imam Shaami Alaihirrahmah states, “Whatever is possible to be read from the Quran should be recited. Also, Surah Fatiha, the initial ayats of Surah Baqarah, Ayatul-Kursi, the final ayats of Surah Baqarah, Surah Yaseen, Surah Mulk, surah Takaathur and surah Ikhlaas, either 11, 7 or 3 times Should be recited and then said afterwards, ”O Allahعزوجل! Convey the reward of whatever I have recited to [so-and-so]”

In the Battle of Tabuk, the Muslim army experienced a shortage of food. Sayyiduna Rasoolullahصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ordered the entire army to gather whatever food they had. The people brought what they could and the food was then placed on a spread tablecloth. The Holy Prophetصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمthen made dua on it and said, “Take and put it back in your containers.” – Mishkaat, Baabul-Mujizaat,

When the Noble Messengerصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمmarried Sayyidah Zainab رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہا ., Hadrat Umme Sulaim رضی اللہ تعالٰی prepared a little food for the wedding feast (Waleemah). However many people were invited. Rasoolullahصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم” placed his blessed hands on the food and recited something, it sufficed for all.

On the day of the Battle of Khandaq, Hadrat Jaabir رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ prepared a little amount of food and invited the Holy Prophetصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمto come and partake in it. When Rasool Allahصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the house, kneaded dough was placed before him. He placed his blessed saliva in it and made dua for barakah.

Rasool Allahصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم stood before the slaughtered animal and said, “O Allahعزوجل! This Qurbaani is on behalf of my Ummah.”

If a person recites Surah Ikhlas eleven times and conveys its thawab to the deceased Muslims, then he himself shall receive the thawab equal to the total reward given to the souls of the deceased Muslims.
Raddul Muhtar,

The reward (Thawab) of physical and financial good deeds is conveyed and received in favour of the other Muslim and it is permissible, in support of which there are many proofs provided by the verses of the Holy Qur'an, AHadith of the Holy Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam and the sayings (statements) of the religious scholars. The Holy Qur'an has stressed upon Muslims to pray for the welfare of other Muslims as brothers and well wishers. funeral prayers of a deceased Muslim is a glaring example in this behalf. In Mishkaat, Babul Fitan, Babul Malaahim, Chapter Two, there is a saying of Hadrat Abu Huraira:

يضمن لي منكم أن أصلي في مسجد العشاء ، يعني بالأيلة ركعتين أو أربعة ، يقول هذه عن أبي هريرة
Is there any of you who will undertake to pray two or four rak'ahs on my behalf in the mosque of al-Ashshar, stating, "they are on behalf of Abu Hurayrah"

Allamah Qurtubi states, 'Just as the reward of charitable deeds benefit the deceased, similarly, the recitation of the holy Qur'aan, Du'aa and Isghtifaar also do the same, because all of these are regarded as Sadaqah (charity) in Shari'ah.'

He, thereafter, mentioned 2 narrations recorded in Sahih Muslim which prove that even Salaat and Dhikr of Allah (Tasbeeh, Takbeer and Tahleel) were all classified as Sadaqah by Sayyiduna Rasul Allah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Sayyiduna Rasul Allah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) slaughtered sheep during his farewell Hajj and made intention for himself and all those (alive, deceased and to come) who bring faith on his prophethood. (Sahih Bukhari)

Imaam Bukhari has reported on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbaas (Radi Allaahu Anhu) that Sayyiduna Sa'ad ibn Ubaadah (Radi Allaahu Anhu) was away when his mother passed away. When he returned, he asked "Ya Rasul Allah,Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam 'Will it be of any benefit if I give charity on her behalf?' The most Beloved (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied in the affirmative. Sahih Bukhari

Hafiz ibn Hajar al-Asqalaani Radi Allahu Anhu states in his monumental commentary of Sahih Bukhari entitled, 'Fath al-Bari', 'This Hadith proves the permissibility of charity on behalf of the deceased and that the reward will reach him.' Fath al-Baari vol.5

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbaas (Radi Allahu Anhu ) reports a man once asked Sayyiduna Rasool Allah (Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam), 'O Prophet of Allah! My father has passed away and he did not perform Hajj, can I perform Hajj on his behalf?' The Beloved prophet (Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam) enquired of him, 'If your father had any debt, would you have paid it.?' The man replied, 'Yes.' Upon this, Rasulullah (Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, 'In that case, the Deen of Allah has more right.' Sunan Nisai

Sayyiduna al-Lajlaaj (Radi Allaahu Anhu), a companion of The Beloved Prophet (Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam), had requested his son that after he leaves this world, he should recite the beginning and end of Surah al-Baqarah at the head side of his grave. Sayyiduna al-Lajlaaj (Radi Allaahu Anhu) then mentioned that he heard this from Sayyiduna Rasul Allah (Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam). (al-Mu'jamul Kabeer of Imaam Tabrani;

Such has also been recorded to be the practice of Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar (Radi Allaahu Anhu). (Sunan al-Kubra of Imaam Bayhaqi vol.4 pg.56).

Allaamah al-Qurtubi states that, 'Some of our Ulama have based the permissibility of Isaal-e-Sawaab of the recitation of the Qur'aan on the Hadith of Sahih Bukhari (Hadith216, ) and Sahih Muslim wherein there is mention of Rasulullah [Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam] placing fresh branches on 2 graves and He [Sall Allaahu Alayhi Wasallam] said, 'Perhaps their punishment will be lightened through it as long as the branches do not dry up.' (The Ulama explain the reason for this to be the Tasbeeh that those fresh branches will recite).

Allaamah al-Qurtubi further states, 'If the Tasbeeh of trees can benefit the deceased, then why not the recitation of the Qur'aan by a believer in Allah?' (Al-Tazkirah pg.70)
Hafiz ibn Hajar has mentioned in a reply to a query of whether the reward of recitation of the Qur'aan reaches the deceased, that; it is Mustahabb for one to do this form of (Isaal-e-Sawaab) abundantly.

On numerous occasions, Sayyiduna Nabi Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam advised the Sahaba (Radi Allaahu Anhum) to give charity on behalf of the deceased. One specific incident is of Syeduna Abu Talha (Radi Allaahu Anhu) when the verse, 'You cannot attain virtue until you spend what is beloved to you…' (Nisaa 4) was revealed. Abu Talha gave his most valuable well and garden, as charity on behalf of his deceased mother. In fact, Rasul Allah Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam slaughtered 100 sheep during his farewell Hajj and made intention for himself and all those (alive, deceased and to come) who bring faith on his prophethood.

Besides these there are numerous other narrations of this nature.

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sall Allaahu alaihi wasallam) said, "He who reads a single Durood, Almighty Allah and His Angels (Malaa'ikah) send seventy blessings upon the reciter". (Mishkaat)

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sall Alaahu alaihi wasallam) said, "He who sends a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah rewards him ten times and ten good deeds are recorded in his book of good deeds". (Tirmidhi)

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Masood (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sall Allaahu alaihi wasallam) said, "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal)

On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. ” (Abu Dawud)

It thus becomes abundantly clear through the above mentioned Ahaadith that Isaal-e-Sawaab and reciting Durood Shareef, Al Fatihah is totally permissible in all it's forms and is in fact a very virtuous deed. This is the view of the overwhelming majority of the classical scholars (Muhadditheen and Fuqahaa) of Islam.
And Allah Almighty And His Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam know best .

Those Who Disrespect Sayyiduna Ameer e Muawiya Radi Allāhu 'Anhu

Alahadrat Azeemul Barakat on Those who disrespect Sayyiduna Ameer Mu'awiyah Radi Allahu Anhu

Alahadrat Azeemulbarakat Imam Ahmad Rida Radi Allahu Anhu writes:

Hazrat Ameer Mu’awiyah is the first king of Islam and the first emperor of the Kingdom of The Beloved Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.

The verse of The Torah points towards it that:

مولده بمكة و مهاجره طيبة و ملكه بالشام

“The Final Messenger will born in Makkah and will migrate to Madinah and his rule will be over Shaam”.

So even though he is the emperor of a kingdom,

Whose kingdom is this?

This is the Kingdom of Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasoolullah Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam the Messenger of Allah.

(Fatawa Ridawiyah, Vol. 29, pg. 357)

Imam Ahmad Rida ( Radi Allahu Anhu) writes:

Whosoever, due to his support for Ameer Mu’awiyah (Radi Allahu Anhu), may Allah forbid, turns away, forgets or rejects the precedence, priority, greatness and perfection of Hazrat Ali ( Radi Allahu Anhu) is a Nasibi, and Yazidi and whosoever forgets the companionship and relationship of Ameer Mu’awiyah ( Radi Allahu Anhu ) with The Beloved Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam due to love of Hazrat Ali ( Radi Allahu Anhu)  is a Shia Zaidi.

(Fatawa Ridawiyah, Vol. 10, pg. 201)

Whoever reviles Sayyiduna Ameer Mu'awiya is a dog from the dogs of hell (Ahkam e Shariyah, p.119) Imam Ahmad Rida

Who curses Ameer Mu’awiyah, is a dog from the dogs of hell. (Nasim al Riyaaz)

"Islam is like a house with a door. The door of Islam is the Sahaba, Whoever speaks ill of the Sahaba, seeks but to harm Islam, just like one who knocks a door to enter a house. As for Sayyiduna Ameer Mu'awiyah Radi Allahu Anhu whoever speaks ill of him seeks to find a way to speak ill of the Sahaba ( Radi Allahu Anhum Ajmaeen)"

Do Not Conceal The Truth (Haq)

اذا لعن اخر هذه الامة اولها فمن كتم حديثا فقد كتم ما انزل الله تعالى

The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said :
When the people of the future ( our times ) curse and disrespect the earlier people ( sahaaba kiraam, Ahle Bait kiraam, Aaimae Mujtahideen, Rahimahum Allahu Ta'ala ) then those people, who whilst having the strength, conceal even one word of Haq, Then indeed they have concealed that what Allah Almighty has Revealed. ( Ibn Majah,)

اذا ظهرت الفتن و سب اصحابى فليظهر العالم علمه فمن لم يفعل فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين لا يقبل الله منه صرفا ولا عدلا

Sayyiduna Muuadh Ibn Jabal narrates that The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said :

When dissensions become manifest, and my companions are reviled, then let every knower express his knowledge,
As whosoever does not, upon him is the curse of Allah Almighty and his Angels and of Mankind .
Allah Almighty shall accept none of his obligatory nor voluntary acts of worship .

اتهلك القرية وفيها الصلحون قال نعم قيل لم يا رسول الله قال بتهاونهم وسكوتهم

Someone asked The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam:
"Ya Rasool Allah Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam can it be so that an area be destroyed in which there are pious people ?"
The Most Beloved replied "yes "
He Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam was asked for what reason ?
The Prophet Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam replied
"due to their laziness and their keeping quiet "
(Tabrani, Bazzaar, )

May Allah Almighty give us the Towfeeq to speak Haq come what may .

Scary Evils of Halloween

156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg (685×176)
Halloween is a confused festival with origins in the Celtics, paganism (Samhain) and Christianity. Partaking in halloween activities is forbidden for Muslims for a number of reasons:

» Humour and ridicule is used to confront the power of death - so basically a mockery of death is depicted on this evening. It is unlawful for Muslims to make mockery of death as it is held as a principle belief in Islam.

» Trick or treat is a forbidden practice as it involves begging for food or sweets. Children are encouraged to beg at people's doors. Begging for things in most forms is forbidden and only allowed under certain circumstances. Tricks are usually mischievous and the number of crimes/incidents on this night is relatively high.

» It is believed that evil spirits come out on this evening and the jack-o-lantern is lit up on doors and windows to protect against them. This has no basis in the Islamic faith.

» Dressing up like satans and vampires is an evil practice especially when the idea is to protect oneself from the fairies and evil spirits.

Hence emulating such pagan and evil practices is unlawful for Muslims even for the purposes of fun. On this evening, Muslims should teach their children the importance of the ta'awwudh i.e. seeking protection from the Satan when we say A'oodhu Billah, the importance of Ramadan when satans are locked away and the relevance of death. Children should also be taught that Allah Almighty sends the rewards of our good deeds to the those Muslims that passed away and that trick or treat entails no form of good.

Supplication of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (Radi Allahu Anhu)

The famous Taba’ee, Hadrat Ta’oos bin Kaisan (Radi Allahu Anhu) said:

“I heard Sayyiduna Ali bin Hussain (Radi Allahu Anhu) while he was in prostration in his room saying:

اللهم عبيدك بفنائك ، مسكينك بفنائك ، سائلك بفنائك ، فقيرك بفنائك
Allahumma Ubayduka bi fina'ika , Miskeenuka bi fina'ika , Saa'iluka bi fina'ika , Faqeeruka bi fina'ika.
‘Your servant in your court, your needy in your court, your seeker in your court, your destitute in your shelter.’

Sayyiduna Ta’oos (Radi Allahu Anhu) said: ‘Never did I supplicate with it in a calamity except it was removed from me’.”

Great reward for being kind to Sayyids

AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (Alayhir Rahmah) has stated in Fatawa Radawiyyah, Vol. 10, Page 105-106:

"The wealthy should provide financial help as a gift for Sayyids from their own pure money. If the wealthy do not do so, it is deprivation for them. They should remember the time when there would be no protector except for these Sayyids’ Greatest Ancestor (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam). Will they not like to spend a portion of the wealth which was bestowed upon them as a Sadaqah from the court of the Prophet of Rahmah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and which they will soon leave behind when buried under the ground in their graves empty-handed! If they satisfy the needs of the blessed sons of the Holy Prophet for his pleasure, they can expect to be showered with rewards by the most Generous and Kind Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) on the day of dire needs (i.e. the Judgment Day).

Ibn ‘Asakir has reported a hadith narrated by Ameer-al-Mumineen Sayyiduna ‘Ali (Radi Allahu Anhu) that the Beloved and Blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated: One who is kind to any of my family members will be given reward for it by me on the Day of Judgment." The ten most exalted companions (Allah is well pleased with them) to whom the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) gave glad tidings of Jannah whilst they were still in this world, are known as "Ashara-e-Mubashrah". Every Muslim should know and memorize their blessed names. They are:
1. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddique
2. Sayyiduna Umar Ibn al-Khattab
3. Sayyiduna Uthman Ibn Affan
4. Sayyiduna Ali Ibn Abi Taalib
5. Sayyiduna Talha bin Ubaydullah
6. Sayyiduna Zubayr bin al-Awwam
7. Sayyiduna Abd ar-Rahmah bin Awf
8. Sayyiduna Sa'ad bin Abi Waqqas
9. Sayyiduna Sa'eed bin Zayd

Three Priorities

156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg (685×176)
Shaykh al-Islam, AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (Alayhir Rahmah) has stated: "Those areas in which I have a special interest and attachment to, which has reached the level of love are three:

1. Foremost, the best, the highest and most valuable branch l possess is that I fully prepare myself to defend the honour of the leader of the Messengers (Salawaatullahi wa Salamuhu Alayhi wa Alayhim Ajma'een) when any intrepid wretch dares to utter any blasphemies against his lofty personality.

2. Secondly, I refute all the heretical groups and their false beliefs and bring misery upon them. They claim to represent the religion but in fact create discord within it.

3. Thirdly, I issue edicts according to the hanafi school to the best of my ability. It is the path which is strong and also clear.

So, these three are actually my safehaven and upon them I rely."

A Highly Prolific Writer

156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg (685×176)
AlaHadrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan‬ (Alayhir Rahmah) wrote approximately 1000 books on different topics. He wrote millions of Fatawa (religious rulings) from the period 1286 A.H. to 1340 A.H., but unfortunately, all of them could not be recorded. Those which were copied have been compiled under the title "Al-Ataya an-Nabawiyyah fi al-Fatawa ar-Radawiyyah".

The latest edition of "Fatawa Radawiyyah" consists of 30 Volumes, 21656 Pages, 6847 Question-Answers and 206 Booklets. His thorough knowledge of Quran, Ahadith, Fiqh, Mantiq (logic) etc. can be judged only by a deep study of his Fatawa where oceans of argumentation is turbulent; rivers of texts are overflowing; the moons of the love for Al-Mustafa (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) are beaming; the suns of reverence for His Presence are effulgent; the stars of the light of the Faith are glittering; The gardens of Al-Haq are swaying; The flowers of research send out fragrance; the nightingales of the Guidance are twittering; the crows of the hypocrites breathing their last; the owls of the heretics squalling; and the impudent slaughtered tossing... wal Hamdu LILLAH!!

To-Do List: Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam)

Lets celebrate the birthday of our beloved holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) with immense love and devotion. Allah Kareem's last and beloved holy Prophet's (SallAllahu Alayhir wa Sallam) birthday celebrations include putting decorative lighting, waving flags, while standing in respect with folded hands sending peace and salutations, arranging celebratory gatherings about the holy Prophet's (SallAllahu Alayhir wa Sallam) arrival in this world, greatness and excellences of his distinguished blessed life, distributing sweets and drinks, to participate in processions and rallies, and greeting Eid Milad-un-Nabi to each other, emotionally and loudly to call out Yaa RasoolAllah! (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam), these no doubt are all very auspicious and virtuous acts. While celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) along with these aforementioned good deeds, make an effort to act upon the following suggestions as well during this whole month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, especially from 1st Rabi-ul-Awwal to 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal (in sha Allah).

1. In every Sunni Masjid and in every Sunni house recite either 12 Parts (Paras), or 12 Chapters (Surah), or 12 portions of Quranic chapter (Rukoo') of the holy Qur'an every day. And through its correct translation and interpretation by the authentic sunni scholars, try to understand its meaning and promise to act upon it.

2. Send peace and salutations (Durood-o-Salaam) on the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) as much as possible.

3. Keep a voluntary (nafil) fast on Monday. Once when the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) was asked about fasting on a Monday, said, "I keep fast on this day because I was born on this day, and the first revelation which came to me was on a Monday".

4. According to your capacity feed a few poor and needy people.

5. Pay the expenses for a poor person's wedding, or arrange clothes or some other necessities of life for any helpless widow or person.

6. Pay the expenses for a poor and deserving student's education, or pay expenses of at least one child in a religious school (Deeni Madrasah) until he becomes a true religious scholar (Aalim-e-Deen).

7. Make arrangements for any poor patient's medicine, or at least visit a sick person in your neighborhood or family.

8. Due to any worldly reason if anyone's relation is broken with any relative or Muslim brother then in rejoicing Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam), try to be the first to reconnect.

9. If we have any religious, social or human rights of anyone on us, then on this happiest occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam), we should try to do our best to fulfill it.

10. If a needy person has taken loan from us, then just for Allah and His Beloved's pleasure and for their sake, according to your ability and capacity, either forgive the entire loan or some portion of the loan, or at least increase the returning time of the loan.

11. Meet the non-Muslims whom you know, give them a small gift along with a small book by an authentic sunni scholar either of introduction to Islam or on virtues and excellence of the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam). Or at least verbally inform them about the teachings of Islam and about the greatness of the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam).

12. Plant a tree in your house, town or estate, the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said, "When a Muslim plants a tree, till the time people will eat its fruits, and sit under its shade, till that time it will be continuous charity (Sadaqah Jaariyah) for that person." Nowadays planting a tree is also beneficial for the betterment of the environment.

Sincere Request: Please do not forget to take care of the banners, posters, flyers, badges and flags from being torn and thrown, also the tabarruk (food/drink) has to be respected. So be careful and try not to become the cause of disrespect in any way.
