Seek Forgiveness and Accept Apology

The Beloved and Blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has narrated in a Hadith:

من اعتذر إلى أخيه المسلم من شيء بلغه عنه فلم يقبل عذره لم يرد علي الحوض

Whoever seeks forgiveness from his Muslim brother, and that brother (without any valid reason) does not accept the apology, he (the one who rejects) will not be blessed to go to the Hawd al-Kawthar*. [Tabarani, Al-Mu’jam al-Awsat, Vol. 4, Page 376, Hadith 6295]

*Pond of Kawthar or Hawd-e-Kawthar is the pond where the Beloved and Blessed Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) will give water to the thirsty ones on the Day of Judgment. Kawthar literally means abundance.

Farishte Jis Ke Zaaie Haiñ (English Translation)

The destination of the angels is the shrine in Medina, Ranking higher than the Great Throne, is this shrine in Medina.

Can the gardens even compare with the plains of Medina?
The bloom of Paradise envies the air of Medina!

Guaranteed is the safety of all, upon the safety of Medina,
May Allah preserve the city, sufficient for us is Medina!

The beauty of every garden is the garden of Medina,
The blossoms of Paradise too, are due to Medina!

What is the need to roam in Paradise, leaving Medina?
A living Paradise, nay better than Paradise is Medina!

Not just we, even the truthful Lord loves Medina,
A sign of love for the beloved, is the love of Medina!

What does the city look like? O Lord, show us Medina!
Where it rains mercy upon mercy, the city of mercy Medina!

Lost is the aroma of Paradise, if you abandon Medina,
Gained is Paradise itself, if you have love for Medina!

He is Mohammad on earth, and Ahmed in the skies,
Praised in both the worlds, is the master of Medina!

He reigns in this world, and is obeyed even in the heavens,
He governs both the worlds, the capital is Medina!

You wronged yourself, O Akhtar, why did you leave Medina?
Even the angels long for it- such is the Paradise called Medina!

So why should you, O Akhtar, go to Paradise leaving Medina?
For all the bestowals, not just Paradise, are due to Medina!

The Prophets (Alayhim as-Salaam) are Alive!!

https://scontent-ams2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg?oh=01d0e3f553a0af289c176604eac379de&oe=57030A50

The Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'ah holds an obstinate belief that the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and all the blessed Prophets (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayhim as-Salat wa as-Salam) are alive and it is firmly established through the authentic and explicit proofs. The life of Prophets (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayhim as-Salat wa as-Salam) is spiritual, physical and worldly. They are as alive as they were alive in the world.

The Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of the Ummah, the Owner of Jannah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated:

إن الله حرم على الأرض أن تأكل أجساد الأنبياء فنبي الله حي يرزق

"The soil has been prohibited by Allah from consuming the bodies of the Prophets. The Prophets of Allah remain alive (after their apparent demise) and they are provided with Rizq (sustenance)".

Forms of Commanding Righteousness

156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg (685×176)

There are many forms of Amr bil Ma’ruf (i.e. Commanding Righteousness):
(1) If one knows that by speaking to a person (who is sinning) about what he is doing, there is a greater likelihood that he will refrain from it and take heed, then Amr bil Ma’ruf is Waajib (compulsory). It is not permissible for him to abstain from cautioning such a person.
(2) If one knows that the ones committing the sinful act will level accusations against him and become vulgar towards him, it is better to avoid it.
(3) If he knows that they will beat him and he will not be able to bear this beating, or there will be strife and conflict because of this and a fight or clash will ensue amongst them due to this, then (in this case too), it is better to desist.
(4) If he knows that by cautioning them they will hit him, but he will be able to bear this and be patient in this regard, then he should forbid them from doing the wrong deed.
(5) If this person is a Mujaahid and he knows that they will not listen to him, and nor will they hit him or be vulgar towards him, then he has the choice (of either forbidding them or not), and it is better that he should command what is right.

A Supplication Whose Reward Is Kept Secret

156049_10152647422410334_7110295986345889328_n.jpg (685×176)

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhuma) narrates that the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) told them:

"One of the slaves of Allah said:

يا رب لك الحمد كما ينبغي لجلال وجهك ولعظيم سلطانك
Ya Rabb! Lakal-hamdu kama yambagi li-jalali Wajhika wa li 'azeema sultanika

The angels were uncertain and did not know how to write (the reward of) this down, so they ascended to heaven and said: 'O our Lord, Your slave has said a word that we do not know how to write (its reward) down.' Allah said - and He knows best what His slave said - 'What did My slave say?' They said: 'O Lord, he said "Ya Rabb! Lakal-hamdu kama yanbagi li-jalali Wajhika wa li'azeema sultanika" Allah said to them: 'Write it down as My slave said it, until he meets Me and I shall reward him for it.'"

The Heart

Momin woh hai jo unki, izzat pe marray dil se

Ta’zeem bhi karta hai Najdi toh marray dil se

A Mu’min is he who dies for the honour of The Most Beloved Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam from his heart.

If a najdi shows some respect, it is only with a dead heart.

Wallah, Woh sun laingey, faryaad ko pohanchain gey

Itnaa bhi toh ho koyee, jo aah kare dil se.

By Allah, He (Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) shall hear your plea, He shall come to your aid.

But at least there should be someone to cry, Aah!from the heart.

Distressed Person Will Forget All Troubles

The Prophet of Rahmah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has stated: On the Day of Judgement, that Hell-dweller will be brought who had been bestowed the greatest number of worldly blessings. He will be dipped once in Hell and asked, ‘O man! Did you ever see any goodness? Did you ever enjoy any blessing?’ He would say, ‘I swear by Allah! No.’

Then that Jannah-dweller will be brought who led the most miserable life in the world and he would be dipped once in Jannah and he will then be asked, ‘O man! Did you ever experience any hardship? Did you ever experience any severity?’ He would say, ‘I swear by Allah! O my Rab! Never, I have never faced any hardship and I have never experienced any severity.’

Sahih Muslim, Page 1508, Hadith 2807

Allahu Akbar! Worldly comforts are nothing in comparison to the punishment of the Hereafter. Just a mere gust of wind from Hell will make people forget their lifelong comforts and pleasures; similar is the situation with regards worldly troubles and sufferings compared to the blessing of the Hereafter. A single brief visit to Jannah will make people forget lifelong distress and sufferings. The distressed person, having forgotten all his sorrow, will deem that he had never experienced any adversity or suffering. SubhanAllah!!
