Kindness

Tabrani reported on the authority of Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid Radi Allahu Anhu that Rasoolullah SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said,‘The Deeds of the people are presented

before Allah on a Monday and Thursday. He pardons all of them, except for those two people who harbor malice between each other, and that person who severs the bonds of kindness’.

The Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, ‘Do not be Ima’a (a self seeker), whereby you say, that if the people are kind towards me, then I shall be kind towards them and if they oppress me, then I too shall oppress them.

However, remain steadfast on this, that if people are kind to you, then you too should be kind and if they are cruel towards you, then you should not oppress them (i.e. cause them any harm).’ [Tirmizi]

Mere gulshan ko ik baar mehkaiye

Apne jalwo ki baarish me nahalaiye

Ze Rahmat Kun Nazzar With English Translation

Ze Rahmat kun nazzar bar haal e zaaram Yaa Rasool Allah,
Ghareebam be nawaayam khaak saaram Yaa Rasool Allah.

A glance of your mercy upon my state Yaa Rasool Allah,
I am poor, helpless, and worthless Yaa Rasool Allah.

Ze daagh e hijr e tau ke dil figaaram Yaa Rasool Allah,
Bahaar e sad chaman dar seenah daaram Yaa Rasool Allah.

The effect of your separation has broken my heart into thousands of pieces Yaa Rasool Allah,
My wounded heart holds hundreds of spring breezes Yaa Rasool Allah.

Tui taskeen e dil araam e jaan sabr o qaraar e mann,
Rukh e pur Noor, jaan e be qaraaram Yaa Rasool Allah.

You are the solace to my heart, comfort for my body, peace and tranquility for my soul,
Grant me the honour of a glance of Your Blessed radiant face, I am extremely restless and anxious Yaa Rasool Allah.

Tui Mawla e mann Aaqa e mann waali jaan e mann,
Tui daani ke juz tau kas na daaram Yaa Rasool Allah.

You are my Master, my saviour, the owner of my life and soul,
You are aware I have none other but you, Yaa Rasool Allah.

Dam e aakhir numaayee jalwah deedaar Jaami raa,
Ze lutf e tau hameen umeed waaram Yaa Rasool Allah.

I have full hope in your blessed mercy
When the final moments are upon Jaami,
That you will bless him with your beautiful vision Yaa Rasool Allah.
