Love For Five And Heedlessness From Five

The Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of Ummah, the Owner of Jannah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) has said, "An era will soon come upon my Ummah when they will love five and will forget five:

1. They will love the world and will forget the Hereafter.

2. They will love wealth and will forget accountability.

3. They will love Creation and will forget the Creator.

4. They will love sins and will forget repentance.

5. They will love palaces and will forget the graveyard."

Fasts In The Month Of Rajab

It is reported from Ummul Mo'mineen A'isha Siddiqa Radi Allāhu Anha that Rajab is a very sacred month. In this month Almighty Allāh Subhānahu Wa Ta'ālā exalts the good deeds by many folds, so if one kept a single fast in this month, it is as though he has fasted for the entire year, and for one who keeps seven fasts(in this month), then all seven doors of Hell will be closed for him, and for the one who keeps eight fasts (in this month), then all eight doors of Jannat (Paradise) will be opened unto him, and the one who keeps ten fasts (in this month) will receive whatever he asks for from Almighty Allāh Subhānahu Wa Ta'ālā: and for the one who keeps fifteen fasts (in this month), then from the skies a caller will announce, All your past sins have been forgiven, Now continue to perform virtuous deeds.

Signs of love for the Beloved Prophet ﷺ

Imam Shihab al-Din Abul Abbas Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr al-Qastallani al-Qutaybi al-Shafi'i (Alayhir Rahmah) has mentioned the signs of love for the Beloved Rasool (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) which are presented here briefly. Whoever adopts them will be a true lover of the Beloved Rasool (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam).

1. Iqtida: The greatest sign of love for the beloved Rasool (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) is to obey him, to act upon his Sunnah, to follow his path, to seek guidance from his life and to abide by his Shari’ah.

2. Be content with the Shari’ah: One who claims love, should be content with the Shari’ah of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and should not face any hardship in his Nafs by the decision of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam).

3. To help the religion: One should help the religion of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) through his sayings and actions, defend his Shari’ah and adopt his blessed life in generosity and follow his blessed way of living in the matters of forbearance, endurance, humility, etc.

4. Being patient on hardships: One should remain patient in times of hardships because the lover gets such a pleasure by this love that he forgets his hardships.

5. Make abundant Zikr: The lover should make the Zikr of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) a lot, because one who loves someone talks about him a lot. Some have said: Love is the name of remembering the beloved forever. A saint has said: The Zikr of the beloved (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) should be done as much as we have breath.
