Some Beneficial Dhikr

1. Hadhrat Juvaira (radi Allahu anha) was one morning engaged in praying. The Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) came afrer Chast Prayer and asked if she was still praying.
While he, after leaving her, just recited four slogans, and the credit was equal to all her praying. In fact his recitation would be more significant than hers. She asked what were those solgans. The Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied:

Subhanllahi wa bi hamdi-hi  adada khalqi-hi  wa rida nafsi-hi  wa zeenata arshi-hi  wa midada kalimati-hi.

(I express His sanctity and His praise, equal to the number of His creatures and in conformity to the Will and the weight of His Throne and the Ink of His Words)  (Nasai)

NB. The benefit of this recitation is not restricted to morning times only. We should make this part of our dhikr recitations.

2. Hadhrat Umme Hani (radi Allahu anha) requested the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that as she was growing old, she may be taught some simple recitation.
The Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said she should recite:

Subhanalla-hi
(Allah is worthy of praise)
one hundred times. Its merit is that of liberating one hundred slaves and those too of the Ummah of Hadhrat Ismail.

Reciting
Alhamdu lillah
(All the praise is for Allah)
one hundred times has the merit of giving one hundred horses with full equipment to warriors in Jihad.

Reciting
Allahu Akbar
(Allah is the Greatest)
has the merit of giving one hundred fully equipped camels in the path of Allah.

Reciting
La ilaha illallah
(There is no one worthy of worship except Allah)
fills up the whole earth and Heaven with credit.

The day that she recites these slogans, no one's pious acts will go to Heaven more than for her - except the person who also recites this and that person's virtuous acts will equal to those of her. (Ahmad)

Allah give us tawfiq to engage in dhikr all the time.
Aameen.
